The level works well, the tripod is generic and not made for the actual product and is to short for particle use so you have to put the tripod on top of smothering to get high enough to use properly.

I was unable to secure the lazer body to the tripod so it was somewhat level. The lazer wouldn't self level while attached, the adjustment knob is obstructed with the lazer body attached.

My husband absolutely loved it! It was one of the few tools he did not have. His only complaint was the instructions were not very clear. Also, video posted on Amazon was not understanding either. Giving it 4 stars as the manual and videos need more detail.
