My teacher, a phenomenal cellist and teacher, recently discovered and loves this rosin. I decided to try it too, after accidentally dropping & shattering my previous one into a thousand shards, like a bad luck mirror. This rosin has excellent sound quality performance. I recommend using fine sandpaper to rough it up for use— NOT a key or coin —I’ve lost big chunks of rosin with the latter two. And, while irrelevant for playing, I really like the aesthetics of this rosin. The clear amber color and smooth texture remind me of the Neutrogena facial soap I used as a teen. And it’s a breeze to open & close the pouch with the elastic band, unlike my other cake rosins. Bottom line: Of the half dozen rosins I’ve tried, this is my favorite.☺️

This rosin makes my bow go across my cello strings like butter. I will for sure continue using it.

I am a cellist, and use this rosin. I like it very much. I often find it hard to differentiate between different rosins. I have 3 different kinds right now, but while I am trying to make up my mind about the other two, I know that I will like this rosin every time I use it. It is has a nice balance between grip and smoothness. Is it worth the money? I can't say, but rosin lasts for years so splurging on it will not end up being a huge extra cost in the long run.

Well, I purchased some cheap rosin previously and was very disappointed. I decided to pay a little more and this rosin was rated pretty good, so I gave it a try. Works very good on my daughters cello. I really like this product.
