the A string left some what to be desired on this cello but may work better on a different Cello.

The Larsen Soloist A&D strings are a big improvement over the original stock Kaplin strings that comes with the NS cello. I only replaced the A & D strings to see how these Larsen strings perform. I was so impressed with the outcome of these Larsen strings, I decided to order the Larsen Magnacore G & C strings. My recommendation to all NS cello owners who are still using the stock Kaplin strings is to replace them with Larsen strings. You will absolutely love how your NS cello will sound.
