Smaller than I expected but worked well. I do my own oil changes and had been using a floor jack with 2x4 blocks to protect the jack points. The blocks needed frequent replacement and were awarded to use. The magnet on this is just strong enough to hold it in place while the jack rises and the height is enough to keep the jack from the body seam on my Ford Explorer.

I've used rubber spacers before to help with the seam weld when lifting car but this is much better.. does same job but doesn't fall off.. the magnets help it stay in place so I don' t have to hold it and pinch my fingers.

I needed some pinch weld lift blocks so I could lift my 2018 Ford Escape with my QuickJack 7000TL. QJ makes some, but I wanted some that were aluminum and would hold up. I place these on top of the rubber QJ lift blocks and they engage the pinch weld slot on my Escape perfectly. They have magnets that hold on to the pinch weld seam. I feel these do a better job than the rubber ones. Plus a bonus for me is if I just want to use my floor jack for something quick, these work on that as well. For the quality, the price is very good. I have complete confidence in these when I lift my vehicle. I'm glad I purchased these after thinking about it for a month. Highly recommend this product.

I finally had a chance to use this yesterday, and I LOVE IT! It works exactly as advertised... I put it on the lip and the magnets held it perfectly. I slid my floor jack up to it and it worked perfectly. When I first put it on the lip, I thought the magnets were a bit weak and it seemed like they barely held it in place, but when I lowered the floor jack, I forgot to remove it and took the car for a test drive. Later, I was bragging about it to a friend when I realized my goof. I went out to find it still hanging on. NICE!

I miss the old days of rolling the jack under the cast iron rear end pumpkin, jacking up the rear. Putting jack stands on the cast iron axle housing and jacking up the front with the jack under the motor mount frame. These days you need stuff like this to either jack on the rocker panel pinch points of the rubber to jack on the frame. This does work. I used it 1 time. Thing is when I jack on the front pinch point the rear begins to lift off the ground before it is high enough to get a jack stand under the car. I suppose we need these these days. We are cursed by new technology and have to learn to deal with it. The part itself is sturdy, fits, does what it says it does and maybe could be a larger diameter or sell larger and smaller units to fit cups on floor jacks. When the car is rising the load is at an increased angle and at a point without going to the edge of the jack saddle looks like it could slip. The only way to jack it straight on so the jack can roll with the car as it is lifted. Any type of angle to the car and you see how it appears to present a danger. Better have a wide enough garage to jack or do it in the driveway.

I use these daily at my shop, love them. Quality built with nice wide opening. A must have for any home mechanic or shop owner, never bend a pinch weld again.

The design of these is pretty slick. Unlike the rubber pucks with the slots in them, these are narrow enough to fit between the lower body plastics and the pinch weld without crushing the moldings, but beefy enough to securely lift the car. The magnetic feature makes them even better! These are very precisely machined - perfectly flat on the bottom to seat squarely on a floor jack or flat top jack stand. The magnets look to be embedded in HDPE in a way it won't mar the pinch weld, but still hold them securely in place against the frame until you get the jack positioned.I honestly wish I knew about these sooner! Liked the first two so much I bought two more so I can just snap them in place on the four corners and only move the jack to lift the car. If I get distracted while cleaning up after a job, the bright red helps me remember to take them off before I head on down the road!Highly recommend for anyone lifting a car with pinch welds (which most newer cars require now)!

It's very easy to forget these on the care when removing the jack. It would be nice if some flag or strap was attached to make it more noticeable.

This jack pad is very solid and stays attached to the car when removing the floor jack. It protects the frame and makes the work easy and safe.
