Well made and worth the purchase price. It is wide but this is being used in pizza baking and lifting fresh Stromboli from the prep surface to the baking tray. It has a metal core with a silicone covering. Works very well for this. Sturdy.

This slotted turner is REALLY big, and sure does the job when you need to flip a large item! It is definitely heat-proof too, which was very welcome after we'd gotten melt marks on handles of a few other large spatulas. We frequently cook things (garlic roll-ups, pfannkuchen, naan bread, etc.) that are large and thin, and tend to tear if not well-supported. This is perfect! One thing that is good to know is that the handle has an inner piece of metal. This is good, it will keep it from breaking, but it makes the handle heavier than normal, so care needs to be taken to rest the turner on a plate in between active use times while cooking because balancing it on the edge of a skillet may cause it to flip right out of the pan.

Used the wide spatula for American or scotch pancakes and for omelettes. This is ideal as the pancake/omelette doesn’t break in half when serving. One piece, silicone wrapped design makes it easy to clean and won’t scratch none stick pan coating. No chance in the future of the handle, for example, becoming brittle and breaking like it can do on some spatula designs with plastic handles.

I had gotten a terrific korean grill pan, that I didn't want to scratch. This huge, sturdy spatula helps slide my biscuits and pizza off the pan effortlessly. I leave my pan in the oven and retrieve the food with this spatula. Great product.

This is a perfectly good spatula/turner I purchased to replace an old one. I wanted a big one, but this one is really big, maybe too big; one of the dangers of buying online and you can't see the thing.
