These are stout rivets, very difficult to pop them with a hand rivet tool. May need to use a pneumatic one. But they will work fine

I used the 3/16 x 3/8 rivet with a standard, inexpensive rivet gun and found that the rivet was too tough for the gun. With a lot of effort I was able to pull the rivet tight but there wasn't enough leverage available to snap the stem. Great rivet, you just need a heavy duty rivet gun.
