This actually worked out soooo great for my cars needs. I was very skeptical but ended up loving this purchase. Assembly does take some time but it is worth it.

What’s nice about this design, is you can put the panels together to fit a specific space if you measure your desired location and check the size of the panels before you buy. For example, I set-up the catio on my deck outside and was able to align a cat door with either an open panel or one of the doors provided in the kit so that my cat can go in and out of the catio on her own from inside of our house. The shelves for the cat to sit on are not as sturdy as they could be, I have a 12 pound cat and she’s okay on them, but it does shake the unit when she jumps. It is a little tedious to snap all the pieces together and then add all of the zip ties, but for the price and versatility, it was worth doing. It can also be fairly easily taken apart and moved or reconfigured (you would have to cut all the zip ties, though, first). It fit my space and works for my cat.

I needed this badly while I was in the process of a major move. It worked perfectly. I highly recommend purchasing 100 medium sized zipties to reinforce all connecting pieces. It takes a bit to secure it, however you can feel secure of your pets safety when you are away. My kitty was able to stay with me on our journey and transition. I had tried putting her in cat hotels however she was so upset after 3 days I bought this instead and used it for 2 months in 4 different rentals as we traveled to our new home.

Using this for my indoor cats ( 2 ) to sleep in at night. Before anyone tries to judge NO they do not stay in there all day long!Fits the litter box I have very well. I like that it's customizable although they will provide the standard way to build it.Be sure to build this in the room/area that you want to keep it in! Made the rookie mistake of thinking it can fit through a normal size door. How to dissemble and reassemble. This thing takes quite a while to build. In my opinion everything is sturdy besides the hallow just square lining piece. Had it break on me a couple of them. Still able to build though! Just reenforcement is a little lacking in some areas.

I had hoped something in this price range would be a little more sturdy. Assembly wasn't too difficult at first, but the taller it gets, the more it wants to slide apart. I have absolutely covered it in zip ties, but the structure itself isn't intuitively designed. The caps that hold things together are prone to popping off or making the layer above that slide around, and the metal panels were sliding out of the links while I built until I got more zip ties and went wild with them.I got it because I needed to separate unfixed cats between appointments for spaying/neutering (to keep males/females separate) and just by existing in the thing, they end up knocking down the bottom platform sometimes. It makes me worry the structural integrity may end up being thrown off. It's a bit disheartening. It's done the job, though, and hasn't collapsed and made kitty pancakes of my cats, so I can't say it's completely useless. I just wish it had been a bit better quality, and perhaps a little easier to work with in general.

I happened across this while trying come up with a way to keep our new brave kitten away from our dogs until he got bigger. I'm so glad that I got this. Other than the directions not being completely informative, it really wasn't that bad to assemble. Once you get started, it's pretty easy to figure out. The zip ties were a real pain in the behind. Would have been more visably pleasing to the eye if they were black like the cage instead of a frosty white but it is what it is. The kitten has lots of room and I loved that his cat tree fits inside. The cage, once fully assembled is pretty sturdy. Would have preferred a bottom to the cage but we just cut a piece of outdoor rug. He seems pretty happy and content in it. The clips for the doors are a little on the iffy side for keeping the doors secure. May have to be something I need to revise once he gets bigger. All in all, I'm very pleased with it.

Directions are a joke. I am no stranger to assembling things. In my line of work, I do new store set ups, from building the aisles and shelving to refrigeration and freezers. They offer a You Tube video , but someone who has no idea of how it works could get flustered easily as you have to stop and start the video on each step. Unfortunately,,, I thought this was the same item I purchased a few years ago , but nope. I use these for socializing feral rescues. Product is not sturdy and it uses thin, flimsy zip ties for reinforcement .I'm talking probably over 100 of them just to make it as sturdy as it's going to get. The top sections were absolutely aggravating. Again, more zip ties. There is no flooring for this, it's just your regular floor. A couple of excited, frightened ferals could probably get their paws under it or jump from one side to the other and topple the whole thing. I never leave a bad review, but considering the price I felt it was warranted. The thought of having to take it apart, repackage it, and drive an hour to UPS store that handles Amazon returns wasn't happening. Of course, it's from China, and I wasn't about to pay shipping for that. Sadly, it won't out to my curb for trash. An hour later a man knocked on my door asking if it was trash/ free. He's using it for birds. God Bless him, and the birds. I'm going to Tractor Supply, like I should have in the beginning.
