I was worried that these might be more flimsy than the smaller clips I have previously purchased from Office Depot and Walmart. These are bigger than the other stores and they are very strong. I purchased them to use on my garden beds. I use 1/2 pvc pipe to make hoops so I can cover with shade cloth in the summer and clear plastic tarps in the winter. These larger binder clips hold the tarps much better, although the smaller ones did okay.

I got these for work because we needed a size betwee. The large and 3rd size up from small. Not much difference in size but they are comparable to name brand
