My kids love to share this and look together at so many things around the house to see how they appear closer. Which really works well to even they can take pictures of the ones they discover are cool to keep. Been so happy seeing them get along sharing together been way worth it would definitely get again for another kid. It's just the right size to fit in palm with a strap that helps stabilize to keep on their hands perfectly. Holding up very well to being dropped and knocked around glad there's guard on lens it's well protected being very easy to use.

This little microscope has been a big hit in our house! It’s compact and easy for kids to use, but the 1000x zoom gives them a real look at tiny details they’ve never seen before. Connecting it to the PC was simple, and the USB feature makes sharing discoveries on a bigger screen fun for everyone. It comes with a USB already installed, so no need to go out any buy another one. The image quality isn’t perfect, but for the price and size, it’s a great tool to spark curiosity and get kids excited about science. Perfect for young explorers who love hands-on learning!

A great way to see a smaller side of the world without straining your eye(s)! Rechargeable which is always a huge plus for me, and the quality while connected to a monitor was good considering what it is and the price point.

This microscope is way better than many others I have tried. I keep looking for the best digital microscope for my own use in gold prospecting as well as for rock hounding. It is so hard to get a good view and crisp display on a microscope. This one tops them all to date. In the first photo I have some super fine flour gold in a gold pan. My phone camera did magnify them a bit so really you can barely even see some of them with the naked eye.The second photo shows the gold up close. You can see the fine details in the gold particles.Again, this is the best one I have tried so far. And it is light weight and convenient to use.I like the built in display that looks like a camera. I like that I can connect this to a computer. And the controls are easy to work with.

We’ve tried other digital microscopes but this was the first one that was set up like a camera- or if you’re a little bit older, a hand held camcorder ;) Usually they are shaped like a magnifying glass and while that is nice it isn’t easy to use the picture function, they can’t be set up stationary and they don’t zoom much. This one sort of fixes those issues and makes improvements where you didn’t realize you wanted them! The device comes with a charging cord, stand to hold the VERY cool slides.. and afore mentioned slides. It also has a memory card that can handle quite a bit of pictures! There are little games too but my daughter wasn’t interested, she was too busy playing with her “microphone-scope.” Haha.

Finally found something that my grade schooler preferred over his tablet! Super easy to use, comes with charging cable (USB to USB-C), a stand, and some sample specimens (onion skins, butterfly wings, bird feather) to get you started. It also has a slot for a TF card, so if you do want to save your photos or videos you can… if you have a card. (I honestly don’t think you need one and am perfectly satisfied with the amount of learning he can do without the recording capabilities.)My kiddo is not that responsible but is an eager learner, and has been asking for a micro$cope. So when I saw this, I did not hesitate to get it. (Bonus: it came two days after my order! 💕) When I surprised him, he opened the box, actually read through the instructions, and started to work the device. It handles like a camcorder, and you can point and zoom at your specimen relatively easily. Once we went through the sample specimens, we made some of our own to compare the water around the house (tap, puddle, and avocado seed water… had to veto toilet bowl water). We made the slides for the water samples by adding a droplet of water between sandwich bags. Then we even got the teenager involved 🤯and they started checking out hair, hands, and feet - and hour and a half later, they were still engaged looking for new things to explore. As a mum with a kiddo who struggles with words and letters, but knows he is wicked smart, creative, and is gifted in other ways, I am super pleased that he can still learn about the world around him with this microscope.

This is a great toy for a young explorer! I wish they had things like this when my daughter was younger, she would have had a blast with it! I got this for my cousin's 3 year old son, and he loves it! The fun dino design is perfect for him!! The LED lights are bright enough to make a shadowed area no problem at all! The hand strap is easily adjustable and gets really small, for the tiniest kid hands. They include a 32GB SD card, which is great! They can capture their favorite finds and show them off later on a bigger screen, of a phone or laptop!I made sure to get very familiar with it before the family Christmas get together, so I could show him how to use it. Surprisingly, he started getting the hang of it that very first day, after just an hour or so of playing with it! He wanted to go outside to find bugs, but I had to tell him there are none in the winter, so I found other things for us to look at. The slides that come with this are great for learning how to use the controls! I love that it's Type-C Rechargeable, so even he can charge it on his own!Overall, this is really a cool thing for any child to own, I would say 10 and under would be the ideal target age. Three years old would probably be the youngest you would want to go. It is a very great tool for the exploring minds of young children and the price is totally suited to the quality and functionality! I Highly Recommend it!! It also comes in a really great looking box for presentable gifting!
