It worked great for a little while. Long enough for me to throw the box it came in away. Then the light stopped working. The seller suggested I exchange, but without the box it came in, I can't do that. They gave me a partial refund. Kind of annoying because I just wanted the desk!

Im keeping it because I need it badly at the moment but it came with a chipped corner. The power cord doesn't come with a box and it's only 5ft long. So unless you plan to power it from your laptop it's impractical. It's sturdy enough on softer surfaces but on the floor it wables and isn't a level surface. I like how it's adjustable and the size is perfect for what I need. I guess it's a good thing I didn't get it for the power or light though.

I am about to have surgery. I was looking for something to use at home after surgery. This will be perfect for the bed. It has a great led light, that folds up out of the way when not in use. There are extra plugs on the back of the lamp post where I can plug in my cell phone. However, after surgery I am to keep my elbows under my heart. When I am sitting in my couch the legs to the table keep it to high for me to keep that rule.

This lap desk was a great buy. I bought it from Amazon warehouse deals and the only thing that was wrong was the light is a little wonky and loose but I got it for half the price so it was well worth it. The drawer and space provided are perfect for working on your computer and sitting on the couch.

Not stable and the outlet for the light is on the wrong side for me so it just couldn’t work and had to be returned. The search continues.

This table is great for me! I have chronic pain that makes most seats uncomfortable to unbearable, so I live on the couch.This table is slightly height adjustable - a definite pro! However, doing so was a pain and I suspect the mechanism would eventually break if you tried to adjust it frequently. (Everything seems to be plastic...) One issue there is that adjusting the table to be higher than it is when shipped causes the legs to overlap instead of both folding flat.The built in light is very handy, pretty easily adjustable in almost any direction. This far, the light arms / joints have been perfectly stable... They never shift or drop after I've set them in position.The USBc cable is very thin & I'm expecting it to need replacement eventually. I tried plugging my phone into the USB port on the light arm & I swear it laughed at me. It would charge ridiculously slowly plugged in there, but it was able to power my small USB fan which is cursed with a short cord.The drawer is very handy for frequently used items, as long as they are small. The depth of the drawer is great for pencils and such without overly impacting the legroom underneath.The legs are inset just a little too much for me. Anyone with large thighs may find the fit a bit tight. I plan to move the legs out about 3/4" to give myself more room & allow the legs to fold flat at their current adjustment.The surface is roomy enough for my projects in general, but not too big to store easily.

I love everything about this table/tray. I do diamond painting and love being able to use this tray while sitting on the couch or propped up in bed. The light was a very unexpected surprise! And even a side drawer to hold my accessories. The actual tray was even larger than expected. I even use it instead of a TV tray while eating dinner in the living room. It is perfect! Get one now!
