The laptop desk is very portable with a carrying handle. It has a slot that can hold a tablet or phone upright, or to hold a pen/pencil. Also, a retractable bar prevents papers or books from sliding off. Feels like the filling is styrofoam pellets. The backing is sturdy fabric, so the desk did hold body heat after it sat on my lap 4 or more hours. Was useful for a class I took. It’s great to use in the car on trips too. Wish it had a compartment to keep pens and paper when not in use.

I like this lap desk because of the size. It fits my 16" MacBook Pro and with some room to spare for my iPhone. It's small enough to bring on road trips. I like that it has a handle to make it easy to carry and it's light. One thing I wish was that the cushion was raised up about another inch or so. Currently, it's ok, but I like to have my laptop raised a little more. Now, I have to cross my legs in order for the height to be where I want it. The cushion is soft and contain tiny beads. There's zipper, so it's removable to clean. There's also an elastic loop under the right side to store your pen/pencil I'm guessing. Although, the loops are a little too big for that.

My elderly mother had been wanting to use her laptop in a recliner and this was the perfect solution. Between the size and sturdy feel it’s exactly what she wanted. It’s not heavy at all and is very comfortable for chair and extended use.

Just received this today. I like the look and width. It is comfortable and it seems sturdy. I have 3 issues with it though:~ The spring-loaded ledge - I thought that if you pushed it down, it would stay down but no. I had to search through the reviews to make sure that it was doing what it was supposed to do (only stay in the up position) and wasn't broken.~ It would be more beneficial to have that ledge a little higher. If I have it in a more angled position, my laptop will slide off.~ Would be nice if the tablet/phone slot was as wide as the top. Then I would be able to be working on my laptop and still be able to insert my phone into the slot.I would have given it 5 stars if the above would have been addressed.Right now, not sure if I'll be keeping it or attempting to find something that fixes the above issues. Not really sure if there is anything else out there that is an affordable price.UPDATE: After using it last evening, there's a good chance I'll be looking for something else. It's up in the air right now :)

This is the third lapdesk I bought. The first had two harder cushions and I was too short for my knees to land on the outside piece. The second one had a solid cushion that’s then folded over to angle making two cushions… it was huge ( and same problem).I was reluctant to pay more for this one (sure would have been cheaper from the states), but I do have to say its comfy and when its on my lap I can use it for a supper table. It works great with my iPad Pro as well as a larger dell laptop with mouse. It’s not as deep as the others so it’s not overwhelming and I’m betting it will fit much easier into a vehicle. I feel like I could take this one places, but the first two would have been way too bunky.

I spent a couple of hours obsessing over which brand of these to pick up. I have an Apple MacBook Air that is hooked up to a large TV in my den, so I needed something for my remote keyboard and mouse. For a while i thought about getting a portable aisle or desk, but I really didn’t want to sink $100+ into a solution that might not be the correct height for the chair I sit in. I find that if you don’t have your keyboard at the correct elevation from the floor, then you end up looking down-and-up from keyboard to TV screen too much, which makes using the setup impossible. So I decided to go with one of these lap-style desks and sprung for a more expensive model. This thing is great. It gives me the height I need while being light and comfortable. The construction is pretty solid and the size of the surface area is just right. Using a Logitech MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard and Logitech MX Master 3 Advanced Wireless Mouse with this.

I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 8 and the matching keyboard cover because I needed a computer to design CAD projects but the tablet idea doesn't work well when you're away from a desk or flat table top.I tend to use a 3d mouse with my tablet as well as a dedicated mouse and so my choice to go with a tablet was immediately a bad idea if I wanted it on my lap. This product fixed that.My surface pro 8 and it's keyboard attachment fits in the tablet slot perfectly and has space on both sides so I can use my 3d mouse and a default mouse while watching movies with my family on my couch. The slot for tablet is deep and wide enough that the tablet kickstand does not need to be used to hold the tablet while also using the keyboard cover. This only applies to the MS surface pro keyboard not to third party covers.The comfort of the lap board is fine, I'm glad the outer edges have minor lips as it prevents my mouse from falling on the floor as I shift or set it down. I haven't had to wash it yet but it seems easy enough to remove the filling to wash the cover that sits lap-side.This product improves my day because it solves a usability issue way better than anything I designed for myself but is cheap enough I feel happy about buying it.
