Pros: Really finished the calendar to look great in the entry way into the kitchen.Consider: Requires removing the calendar to add information to a month that is not currently shown. Kinda of a hassle.Overall happy with the frame.

Absolutely love my black LANG calendar frame. I bought one last year and loved it so much I ordered another one for my daughter's room. The frame fits both Lang and Legacy calendars. Makes the calendar look like a lovely artwork on the wall. Definitely recommend.

It looks great! I was a little leery about buying this without knowing what size of calendar would fit in it.It holds 13.375”w x 24”h perfectly. Also, it has a horizontal notch for hanging.

I ordered this frame for a friend. It looks cheap, is a soft wood and totally disappointing. Not the quality one would expect for something that is advertised as "oak". It looks like the "oak" color is laminated on as the back of the frame is a different color. The color is bordering on a yellowish/orange and way too light to resemble oak. The pencil indentation on the bottom looks gouged out in places. I have a Lang "oak" calendar frame that I purchased a few years ago that is beautiful. It is actually high quality, not laminated wood. This new one is disgusting. Shame on Lang for trying to pass this off as an oak frame. This was a gift and will tell my friends that I will gladly return it and look for one not made by "Lang" and is actually oak.I am royally disgusted.

a better selection of finishes would be nice. frames are very pricey for what you get. in combo with the calendar artwork they make an attractive addition. quality of the calendar substrate is first rate. being collectible, it's enjoyable to go back in time and relive important dayes over the years. i like 'em.

The quality of materials are very good, however the build quality on my unit was only passable. This unit is stapled together; normally not a big deal, however in this case it was done sloppy in the factory and prevented the calendar from sliding smoothly in and out. This is a big deal because the calendar needs to change every month. I needed to repair it before using: not everyone would be willing to do this.Now that the unit is repaired, it is a nice addition and looks a lot better than hanging a paper calendar on the wall.

Should have bought this ten years ago! I've been so hesitant to commit to a frame due to reviews about a hassle with changing months. Well, I've recently changed it from Nov to Dec, and it took about two seconds. Pulled calendar up and out, flipped page, dropped it back inside the holder, done. Didn't even need to take frame off the wall.The frame perfectly fits the calendar, it holds the calendar upright, no sagging, even on Dec, the last month of the year when the calendar has 11 months on the top side of the center crease.It was also a snap to hang the holder on wall when I got it. Put in a small nail, and hung the calendar frame on it. Bam. Seems to be secure.I always buy Lang calendars as they are hands down the best I've ever had, so I haven't tried fooling around with using some other brand of calendar with the frame. There seems to be about a zillion different Lang calendars available so I would think a person could find one they love.The calendar in the frame looks so clean and polished, it inspired me to finally clean up the adjacent bulletin board on my kitchen wall, too. Now the whole area looks so much nicer. If you've been on the fence like me, I recommend that you buy the frame, I think you will be glad you did.I got the vintage red. It's a lovely dark brownish red, like a barn, not a bright primary red like a stop sign. I'm using the Lang "Roosters" calendar, and it looks perfect.Shipping was fast, frame extremely well packed, no dents or dings.
