As an electrician, I frequently use waterproof wire connectors on the job, and I’m always eager to try quality products from new brands. However, this is one that should definitely be avoided. I purchased the 20-pack to give it a try, and as soon as I connected the wires and powered up, the wire nut melted and sparked immediately. The product claims to be UL listed, but I have serious doubts. Most legitimate UL-listed connectors from reputable brands display their UL logos on the product. In this case, there was nothing printed on the connector itself—not even the company’s logo. This product is low quality and poses safety issues. Amazon should really ban these non-certified electrical products from the site. Avoid at all costs!

These connectors are just what I needed to do some repairs on the sprinkler valve wiring (3 or 4 thick wires together in one connector. The underground sprinkler box was flooding from a valve leak (that I have been unable to stop leaking) and these connectors provided a solid connection that is waterproof. The landscape lighting in our yard is being replaced after 26 years and these connectors were handy to make the connections. The caps are a bit bigger than really necessary for the thinner landscape lighting wire, but they can be buried out of sight.I know there are a couple reviews here warning against using these connectors for construction. For use outdoors in the yard, I think there is much less risk of danger, especially when buried.

Had to replace a section of line to my outdoor lights because one of my light fixtures needed replacement. I couldn't get the new connector to pierce the cable because it had gotten brittle and hard. Its early December and I am not digging up 75+ feet of cable to install a new line. Pieced in where I need a new supple line. Used these wire caps. Screwed on easily, appeared to be a tight fit. This wire nut is buried, and it has rained several times since installation - fixture still lighting nightly, not flickering - I'm guessing everything is well. As I titled, time will tell.

These are almost exact to the ones you can buy in the box stores.they are of about the same quality and for now at a good price so more value for the money spent, I would recommend others to try them and hope the price dont go to high.

Sometimes our dog fence gets cut, and I need these connectors to be able to make the repairs underground and have it survive in water and wet, damp soil. These seem to work really well and it come with the stuff inside that keeps it dry.

I got these grease connectors for some connections I am making on my irrigation system and for some low voltage exterior lighting improvements. I have used these in the past and they work great to keep underground connections dry and operational. The price is easy. I recommend.

There was nothing to dislike about these connectors. They come with complete, easy-to-understand instructions that should be followed precisely for the best performance. They are usable for either wall current or low-voltage DC connections. They are filled with Silicone Gel and are waterproof enough for burial but not submersion in water. They are also UL-listed.They are offered at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend them.

First off, the instructions don't match the listing. It is currently (Sept 24) listed as "20-10 AWG" wire caps. But the instructions clearly state 18-12 gauge wire to be used.My use is for some 12 AWG UF wire. The first cap's threading came loose, maybe i over tightened it. The 2nd and 3rd caps stayed on but seemed to push most of the sealant right out, very messy.I was able to cap 2x 12AWG and 3x 12AWG wire, but not very confident in the hold. Also notable was a very inconsistent color of the sealant ranging from nearly clear to an off-white yellowish brown color. No, I would NOT recommend.
