Liked using this kit for laying bricks for a walkway through my garden. flexible to form the path you want without a lot of cutting .The edge is strong enough to hold the bricks in place without breaking bending or tearing.

I used this landscape edging for a backyard project, and it worked perfectly! Easy to install with the no-dig design, sturdy, and gives a clean, polished look to my garden beds!

Even if refurbished down to the studs, an older homestead often has surprises. Poking around in the front yard found a grass-hidden flower bed and an older sidewalk as a border with some bricks under the dirt. North Texas warmed to a balmy 70 to 75 degrees over the weekend, and it had rained on the Friday before. The gardener inside me prepped the hoe and shovel. Earlier in the month, I spied the above-ground edging and knew, at some point, I would have a need. Revealed the sidewalk with a brick edging, then hoed from it to the porch—black loam topsoil. The edging had flexibility and was much needed for the situation at hand. The brick and sidewalk held back the black loam topsoil from streaming down the incline to the main road or driveway. Finding the edge of the bricks laid that edging there with the hinge for the nail over the dirt. Spike-like nails go in quickly. With the wind in my hair on a fine February Texas day, I only put the nails halfway in till I reached a troubled spot so I could make adjustments. The dirt is from sidewalk revelation and plant debris removal. The edging actually does only lay on top, making it a good choice for the project. Went back and sank in the spikes after deciding on the troubled spot. Yellow shrub roses going in that loam. The edging is tall enough to solve any soil movement issue and keep mulch in once to that stage. After hoeing and shoveling, installing the edging was purely pleasurable, especially the spike tapping.

This landscape edging by YUYIUS comes in a 20FT roll and as described, no digging is necessary to apply this product. The edging features staking points every 4.3" and includes 30 stakes so you can anchor it very securely. The edging provides a 2” tall border and the anchoring tabs are typically covered with your own substrate after installation. The plastic stakes are reasonably thick and worked fine in our soil but harder or rocky soil could be challenging. For our application, I only found it necessary to stake it down every third or fourth hole but I did shorten the anchoring points closer to the ends and around tighter curves. As some others have mentioned, if you need to straighten the roll, it can be left in the heat of the sun as needed to reform it. The kit also includes 2 connectors to join the ends if you want to make a couple of circles. As landscape edging goes, it's a little pricier than the regular dig type but you can get better value per foot with longer packages. For the ease of application and quality, I'll give this 5 stars.

I was surprised by how sturdy this item feels. Some of these garden edgings are a thin plastic that cracks easily. This actually feels like a nice, thick rubbery plastic. That will be good where I live as we get extremely cold winters (up to negative 10 degrees!) & our summers get a lot of sun & up into the 90s! It was coiled up really tight so it may help to stretch it out as best as you can & leave it in the sun for a few days, this will help soften the material & make it easier to maneuver. I did take it out of the box & work with it for a bit but I will be completely honest in the fact that I have not put it in the yard or use the nails yet. I am currently under 6 feet of snow so there is no way to put it to the test for real. I couldn't pass it up when I saw it though so that is why I got it in the dead of winter. I will come back & update this review come summer if it is not good. If you don't see an update from me, that means it turned out great!

This is highly addictive and I'm so happy! Lol For some reason my grass refuses to grow all the way to my fence. There's about five feet that is bare. I started to notice it's growing into a waved edge and it's actually sort of nice? HahaI decided let's roll with it and make that a landscape decision. So we made the wave intentional and smoother, created a border that is basically invisible thanks to the green and now we laid down black mulch where the grass didn't feel like growing. The neighbors have stopped to tell us how wonderful our yard looks and who did our work. It's so exciting to finally have our yard going in a direction we like instead of feeling embarrassed about our weird grass. LolHighly recommend this but just know, you'll more than likely need more. I have a relatively small yard and the grass is only on one side but that wave needed all of this. So in order to finish the look all the way along our fence for the side of the house we'll be coming back for more. Easy install and does it's job terrifically!! (:

We just started to do some landscaping last year. I've been wanting to add some garden edging as the lawn is growing up into the flowerbed area. We looked at several different types of borders. I really liked this one as it didn't require any digging or hammering in. However, if your garden is like ours, it will not be work free. We had to move a lot of mulch out of the way in order to install this. We kind of knew that, but we also discovered that as the edging is rather high, we also will be needing to add more mulch than we had there, in order to cover the plastic edging. After all, we were trying to give the garden a neater look, but we don't want the trade-off to be the display of plastic. But once we fill in with some additional mulch it should be just what we were hoping for. The plastic seems sturdy enough to withstand the edger, so that is good as down south we have to mow and edge twice a week in 3 seasons. A cheesy border product would not hold up. I'm hopeful this one will. I just wish it came in larger rolls as 20 feet was not enough for our project. Hope I'll be able to order a matching box.
