Bought edging for my planter, but did not have enough stakes. I ordered the 50 pack and received the exact stakes the edging kit came with. They are well made, and easy to use. I am happy with my purchase.

I never used this set, used them previously and they worked very well. They can handle very solid hits - suprisingly.

We ordered the 4” flexible edging from Amazon and quickly found out that the edging does not contain sufficient spikes. The spikes that are included (in the edging package) are shorter than these. The extra length —they’re two inches LONGER— should prove to hold the edging in longer / better. Sturdy—not one has broken. We also insured to turn on the sprinkler plus bring a container of water. If there is resistance, we pull out the spike, add water to the tiny hole that the spike created, and work it until it is fully pushed in. Do not use a mallet or hammer. Use water to soften soil and the spike pushes in by hand. The spike has some grooves (like a drill bit) that help the spike to go in the soil easily. These spikes are for edging — closely spaced. While of course, they can be used for tarps or tents, that is NOT going to work. The diameter of the spike’s head is insufficient for tents/tarps. Also tents / tarps have grommets that are widely spaced out. Larger spikes with metal is for tents / tarps.I priced these are three local stores. These are fairly priced, have a conservative color (black) for your yard, and are significantly better quality.Definitely would buy these again.

These were super easy to use, identical appearance to the ones that came in our box from Lowe’s but wayyyy cheaper than buyer additional stakes from Lowe’s. Same heavy duty quality to secure the lining down. These did their job perfectly and we have not had any issues with them anchoring everything where it should be.

I was SHOCKED at the price at the local big box store for a bag of pointy plastic nails. These are affordable and of the same quality. I used them to secure paver edging and landscape edging. It is important to understand that while these are plastic and therefore a little flimsy, their strength is somewhat provided by the stiffness of the soil they are driven into. I found that they respond best to a few light taps to get started before just pounding away at them. The twist shape adds extra holding friction in the soil. I even had to pull one section up and re-do it. Some of the spikes were slightly bent, but were able to be reused.

These are a good price. I had 2 break, I must have hit a rock or hard spot when putting them in. I used a hammer to drive them in. These were use on the plastic edging that had holes in it to tack it down. Aaac Service heating and air furnace repair in McDonough recommend these.

Really liked length. Sturdy. Used to secure weed barrier fabric in flowerbeds & worked well. Good buy; especially for price.

For the past year or two, I have been overhauling the landscaping at our home and ordered this set of spikes to help me put down no dig edging (which you can buy at a local hardware store but it comes with far too few spikes.)My neighborhood must have been built over a quarry since I can barely stick a shovel in the ground without hitting a rock. Unlike other spikes I have bought that break off when I hit a rock, these bend a little and end up looking warped. That is actually a good thing since I can then pull the spike out of the ground and hammer it into another spot.Of course, a warped spike requires a little more care when hammering it into the ground but, I have been pleased with this product so far. Of the 20 - 25 I used today, several of them bent when I struck a rock but I only broke 2. I was able to salvage the others and keep going. After I finish the landscaping section from today, I will have only one major area to complete and am glad I have 75 of these spikes left. They are easy to use, resist breaking (but you can still break them) and are doing the job I need them to do.Hopefully, this review was helpful to you.

I have a lot of landscape edging. For some I had to use metal spikes. These are not the brand of plastic I usually buy, but I'm through almost half the package and the heads have only broken off 2 of the spikes (with a rubber mallet).Hopefully they will hold up. I'm glad the ground wasn't too dry when I put them in.
