I have yet to test it, but the adhesive tape is weak. You have to buy your own if you want to mount it.

Very Nice! It actually works because they give you two test mirrors to test each one on!

I like the fact that I haven’t used the device yet, but it is readily available when the time comes. It was reasonably priced and I got two of them in the package, one for each vehicle. I also like the color it’s a bright red easily discerned. It is of good quality material. They also included two pieces of glass that I can practice smacking them on. (Haven’t tried it yet).

This should come in handy if ever needed, with the rise of reports of cars stuck in water this should be useful. like other reports the adhesive is not the best a few dabs of E6000 and they stay put.

In an emergency, you may need this to free yourself from your vehicle. I make sure my family all have one, and I hope they never have to use it.

I have read several 1-star reviews from purchasers that did not seem to understand how this device functions. The instructions that come with the item do instruct you to press head against corner of window (or something like that). These instructions mean that you are supposed to press the head of the device against the corner(s) of the window you want to break. The device functions by spring loaded tension and an automatic trigger mechanism. Both the spring and the strike point are concealed within the device. The strike pin provides a rapid jolt to the window only after you press the head of the device very firmly against the window at which time the tension is built up in the spring and then the trigger trips and the metal point releases and rapidly and forcefully strikes the glass thus shattering it. This device is not designed to be swung as a hammer.
