The operation steps are as follows:
1. Clean the wood surface and choose a hard wax of the same or similar color.
2. Install the battery on the correct poles, then slide the switch to ON, only needs 10-20 seconds to get heating. Melt the wax stick with the melting tool into the scuffs and scratches space.
3. Wait 10-20 seconds, wipe up/scrape off the excess to smooth it out and wait for it to dry naturally.
Warm Tips: It is important to ensure that the wax is liquid and flows into the damaged area,so that the wax can form a strong bond with the laminate floor, then sanding and polishing the touch up after cooling.

This was very effective! I had a dent in my table that was fine otherwise so I figured I might as well try. The wax tool was easy to use and I mixed three different wax colors to get the right shade. I’m very pleased that it also came with batteries! It’s a great value and works best on small black scratches.

Please do not waste your money. Mine was broken on arrival. The heating tool didn’t work either. Wouldn’t turn on. Waste of $20

This product worked on my marble floor, and you can't notice that it was fixed until you say it. Also we have a leather couch, it's seemable but less because I covered with the markers. Also we have the wood kitchen cabinets and you can't notice either, I love it and recommend it, I'll leave some before and after pictures! It is so easy to use and very cheap!

I purchased this Laminate Floor Repair Kit with Heat Pen to repair a few wooden pieces of old furniture and my laminate flooring in the mudroom. Some of the furniture had minor nicks, which the multiple color options were amazing, but the flooring was the most concerning. After melting the wax to fill the gouge, it was time to manipulate the color. This worked amazingly. It looks like I replaced the plank. I will be keeping this on hand because we are always moving furniture around. Overall I recommend this.

Okay. So I made a mess. My laminate floor had 6 inch square places where the laminate was warped and was coming up. I cut out the places thinking I could get replacement boards from Home Depot. Aaaand, they stopped carrying it. I thought I could glue the top layer back on and fill the spaces with this product. Much gnashing of teeth and howling ensued. Maybe the bad luck planets slid into retrograde or the gods that be decided that they needed a good laugh. Either way, I laughed back by buying a carpet.Using the melty tool was really slow and my ADHD nearly convinced my logical mind to pull out a gas torch. Luckily I got wise to the laughing gods before my ADHD burned down the house. That all being said, the colors were excellent and I could match the floor. This kit was awesome for small dings and scratches in my furniture. I just wouldn't use it for anything bigger than a quarter.

I used this to repair scratches in my Grand Design Reflection linoleum floor. I was skeptical but it actually looks nice.
