This phone holder is stout. It’s quite weighty, and the locking mechanism is surprisingly easy to use and secure. There’s one knob that tightens both ball joints. This might seem bad at first, but being able to hold it in position with one hand while using the other to tighten the knob is way easier than dealing with two, going back and forth to tighten/loosen the knobs. The pad for the phone feels like a decent synthetic that protects the phone well. The vibration dampening is overkill for a mountain bike, but the intended use is for motorcycles, for which this is perfect. The locking lever for the phone clamp is intuitive, works just like a quick release latch on the seat, twist to close, push down to lock. There’s mounting clamp opens very wide. For a bicycle you could mount in anywhere on the frame or handlebar. I don't have a motorcycle, so I’m not sure how well it’d fit on one.

I've been on the hunt for the best phone mount for my motorcycle and there are some really gerat options out there these days. I used to be a hard core RAM X-mount fan, but have recently found a few alternatives that are a lot nicer, and this one is definitely teh cream of teh crop. It checks all the boxes, the phone drops in super easy, clamps in super securely, and the anti-vibration features just put it over the top. If you have an existing ram ball it will mount right to it, and if you don't you still have all the options that they make to mount it to whatever you want. Great value, excellent build quality, good value. Zero complaints, this is the one!

Like the heading says I had to unscrew the lock switch forever I was starting to think I was gonna have spring loaded parts fly across my living room but it didn’t and my phone in an otterbox is slightly wider than normal being an iPhone 14 Plus but it locks in and rock solid the mount comes in an incredibly well padded cut out foam filled box the only thing I would have liked to see is for the mount itself to be quick connect as it’s not really something that I will be using very often 4-6 times per season I’ll do a long run and wish I had some way to use the gps instead of holding it under my thigh against the seat and stopping every few miles to double check i currently don’t have a sound system that may change sooner than later as I intend to get a large 1/4 or half size fairing to integrate a sound system into that way I can have music I never thought I’d ever miss a stereo until I had my last bike (Kawasaki nomad) with a batwing and stereo and tho I really wasn’t in love with the bike as much as the idea of that one I have found that I miss the sound system terribly and in that case to stream music from my phone is possibly a different story but I’m a dyna Bro. As they say and this bike I love I’ve put more time into it than any other before it and this is my first time putting a phone mount in a motorcycle I own so I’m ties part of it takes away from the whole idea of the free spirit but on the other side I’ve found having music while I ride doubled the distance between stops to rest my back as I have a spinal cord injury and my Dyna I can do double what I could without music vs what I could handle with music on my Kawasaki I wanna see what music with my Harley will do…. The other real nice bit with this mount is it goes from really tightly packed with a flick of a nut it stretches right out and slows to swivel and whatnot that’s awesome as there’s often I find myself going down new roads with absolutely amazing scenery and not risking dropping my phone at 60 while I ride down the road taking shaky videos of that I’m seeing seems like a win to me I’ll know how well it works come the ever approaching riding season but all signs point to it doing the thing plus it’s no more expensive than other high end options

I recently picked up the Lamicall Motorcycle Phone Mount Holder for my Yamaha. From the moment I installed it, I could tell that this was a high-quality product. The all-metal construction feels solid and durable, which immediately gives you confidence that your phone is going to stay securely in place, even on bumpy rides. The mount was easy to set up and fits perfectly on my bike's handlebar. The clamp is adjustable, so I didn’t have any trouble getting it to fit my handlebars. The extendable arm is also a fantastic feature. It lets me position my phone exactly where I need it, whether I’m using it for navigation or just listening to music while riding .I really like the anti-shake design, I’ve used other phone holders in the past, and they would often wobble or shake when hitting bumps or rough terrain, so I was constantly adjusting the phone. This one, however, keeps my phone stable and free from vibration, even on rougher rides. It’s especially great when using GPS, as the screen remains clear and easy to read without any blurry shaking. The holder is compatible with phones ranging from 4.7" to 7.2", so it fit my Samsung S24 Ultra perfectly, and I’m sure it would work just as well for any other phone in that size range. I’ve tried it on some longer rides, and the phone has stayed securely in place with no issues at all. Installing and removing my phone is really easy with the clamp lock, and it really holds my phone well. Another feature I can appreciate is the mount doesn’t block your camera, I run a fairing now so don’t need this feature, but having a phone you can record your rides or use dashcam apps is a great feature to have.Overall, the Lamicall Motorcycle Phone Mount Holder is a must-have for anyone who rides regularly and wants to keep their phone safe and easily accessible. It’s reliable, well-built, and a huge upgrade over other phone holders I’ve used in the past. If you’re looking for a phone mount that won’t let you down, I highly recommend this one.

I have now been trying out half a dozen different clamps for my motorcycle mostly and also for my car. This one is the keeper. It will spoil me. All of the clamping and gripping connections are tightly designed not to ease off on their own because of vibrations.Primarily the hold down for a smartphone has firm rubbery surfaces on the inside touch points, even the back pad. The clamping mechanism uses a threaded bolt plus a lock down lever with a cam action to give that last bit of pressure to really put a hold on the phone. Once you get that mechanism sorted for your own device, inserting and removing the phone should just take about half a turn of the bolt and then fold down the cam lever.I was wondering about the four springs isolating the phone, as to how much jiggle they might allow as I bet I will be mounting an action camera at some time or using the lenses on my phone to record while in motion. Those springs are stiff enough that they have not been affecting the steadiness. Any visible motion through them and I've got bigger issues to deal with on the road. The arm is of my preferred design from twenty years of using GPS units on motorcycles. The clamp for round bars is made to grip hard.

I mounted this thing minutes after it came in the mail. I’m loving it! I got it dialed in so that it’s directly in front of me on my handle bars. I use an OtterBox and with this, it sits and mounts perfectly! This thing is like insurance for your phone. Sit it in, lock it, and it’s good to go!

This is quality design and built Phone Mount. All metal design. I have had many what I thought were good mounts all with some part of them plastic, they eventually break. This Mount has several Spring Loaded features and a solid design. It has a great locking device to hold the phone. Good quality for the price.

Wow this is a very nice bike phone holder. It's definitely all metal, nothing like the less expensive plastic designs. And the craftsmanship appears to be a step above all other brands, it arrived fully assembled and every part fits together like a well oiled machine. Just holding it in your hands feels like a beefy 'Hulk' phone holder, and it weighs at least a pound, it's definitely very solid. The adjustments are simple, one knob controls the tightness of 2 ball joints that allows almost any orientation, and when it's tightened there is absolutely no movement at the ball joints, the orientation is fixed in place. The cradle that holds the phone expands fairly wide to accommodate wider phones (like my iPhone 12 Pro Max in an OtterBox case, total width is 3.5", it slides into the cradle easily). And the cradle latch to hold the phone in place adjusts to your desired tightness by simply spinning it and then simply closing the attached lever (sort of like how a bike seat clamp holds the seat post), then the phone is fixed in place in the cradle firmly, it's not gonna bounce out, it's that firm. Also the phone cradle is isolated from the main holding structure with 4 adjustable spring shock absorbers to minimize vibration while your bike is in motion hitting road bumps and dips. Yup, this bike phone holder is impressive! My only concern is the round clamp that fastens this phone holder to the bike handlebar. The many previous bike phone holders that I've acquired all had similar round clamp designs, because the handlebars are tubular and that makes perfect sense. But the round clamps all eventually rotated around the round handlebar due to the weight of the phone, such that the phone screen moves slowly towards a more horizontal orientation instead of remaining pointed towards your face. Yes you can rotate it back, but eventually it will rotate again. Nevertheless, I don't know if this new phone holder will do the same because I haven't installed it yet, but I'll know more after I install it and take it for a spin. The above is my review without yet installing it on my e-Bike, which I will do in the Spring when it stops snowing or raining and when the roads are clear and the temperatures are decent for a human being to ride in. In the meantime I really really like this new bike phone holder and I am looking forward to installing it and then trying it out. My fingers are crossed that this will be the last bike phone holder that I ever order because it's simply the best phone holder ever made. Time will tell.I will update this review after I try it out.

This is what I have to call an almost perfect design and execution! This phone holder has very close to all the features a buyer could ask for, and those features are VERY well executed. The holder comes in really nice, and very protective packaging. It also comes with really nice product installation and use instructions. They even give an ACCURATE weight of the holder, and even include an email address to get help if you encounter a problem during the ONE YEAR warranty, and state that you will get a reply from that email address within 24 hours. The installation instructions are very thorough, but totally unnecessary due to the excellently intuitive nature of the design: a user can EASILY figure out how to install and adjust it without ever looking at the instructions! This is further helped by the fact that the holder comes FULLY assembled. There is literally NO asembly required. It simply needs to be mounted onto the vehicle using the 2 mounting screws that join two half-rings around any handelbar within a very generous diameter range. The overall phone clamping design reflects genius level simplicity. The bottom of the holder has a ledge that prevents any phone from falling out downward, even if the side clamps are not tightened adequately. This means that you do NOT need to "hold" the phone in place with one hand while tightening with the other hand. A simple side screw lever tightens the side clamps intuitively, and then is "locked" via a camming feature. Once inside the holder and "locked", there is no way the phone can possibly fall out. The only way short of an accident that the phone can come out is when you unlock the simple clamp. The design will accept virtually ANY cellular phone that does not stray outside the generous size range noted in the ad and in the instructions. It even securely accepted my iPhone that was already encased inside a QuadLock mounting liner! I will be using the iPhone on BOTH my motorcycle and my recumbent trike, and GOOD anti-vibration phone mounts are costly here in Canada ($100 or more each), but I ideally want to have the iPhone instantly usable in EITHER vehicle without requiring any "prep". So, having the iPhone mount successfully in this holder while already being encased in the mounting sleeve for the QuadLock holder is a HUGE unexpected benefit!Another very smart feature is that the "ball mount" part of the holder, which enables a very broad range of possible posiitons and angles, cannot be accidentally loosened enough during adjustment to "drop" the phone holder and phone within the holder. The loosening screw loosens enough to enable adjustment, but is physically restrained by the design to NOT allow either ball to fall out of the saddle. You simply CAN'T screwup and drop the holder and phone with this design. And of course the anti-vibration feature is a necessity when mounting any phone that contains a automatic-focusing camera. Such focusing systems can be easily destroyed by either engine or road vibration on a vehicle, which is why GOOD phone holders have anit-vibration systems, usually based on either flexible polymer or metal springs. This holder uses metal springs, which you can see in one of the 3 photos I attached. This anti-vibration feature is a MUST to protect the camera focusing system. The other 2 photos I posted show the holder in place on the lefthand "handlebar" of my recumbent hotrod KMX trike. Despite the holder's larger than typical size, it fits nicely and looks good on my tiny trike.I did say this holder has an "almost" perfect design and execution. There are two things that a few users might not like:1. The holder is relatively heavy comapred to some others. It weighs 0.82 lb, and2. The holder is physically larger than some other available phoneholders. If you are a weight weany equipping a sub-20 pound triathlon bicycle, the size and weight might bother you, so you have been warned. But, if you are a more typical user, this will be unimportant to you.I don't see the weight and size being a significant issue, and EVERYTHING ELSE is so perfect that to give this product a lesser score than 5 stars would be a crime. It's that impressive.

This phone mount is a game-changer for my DR650, especially during off-road adventures. Its heavy-duty, all-metal construction ensures durability and a secure grip on my phone, even on rough terrains. The vibration reduction feature is impressive, keeping my device stable and easy to read. One standout feature is the metal extension arm with dual ball heads and a safety knob, allowing for 720-degree rotation. This flexibility lets me adjust my phone to any angle for optimal viewing. Additionally, the design doesn't obstruct the camera, enabling on-the-go photos or videos without removing the phone.Security is well-thought-out with a safety lock on the back, ensuring the phone stays in place during rides. The anti-theft design includes special safety screws and a wrench, preventing easy removal and adding an extra layer of protection.Installation was straightforward, thanks to the adjustable handlebar clip accommodating diameters from 0.78 to 1.38 inches. The mount is compatible with a wide range of phones, fitting devices from 4.7 to 7.2 inches, including models like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.Overall, this mount combines robust construction, versatility, and thoughtful security features, making it an excellent choice for riders seeking reliability and functionality.
