Microscope is the size of your hand like a portable camcorder. It zooms in and shows clear video of the object that you are looking at. I zoomed in on an ant and could see his features clearly. It’s neat because you can focus more with this portable microscope and you can using a magnifying glass. It’s a lot easier to use versus a desk microscope, and you can also move it around and focus on numerous objects without having to put it under a microscope. It functions a lot better and is an amazing deal.

I know this title says this is meant for kids but I love this little magnifier. I am using it to check for mostly error coins that I collect. It's very easy to use it's a great size and it's quality. The picture quality is much better than other magnifiers I've used I like that you're able to save the images to refer back to later. It holds charge for quite a while and is very handy for multiple things. Considering the price I think it's a great purchase 10/10

I am not sure who has more fun with this Microscope, my Daughter or me.My Daughter has a very curious mind, so I like to keep it directed. We carry this Microscope with us when we are in nature. It is so easy to use. Simply needs a flat surface around the subject of observation. I am amazed how such an inexpensive Microscope is able to zoom in so far at great resolution. The Screen makes it easy to see. You can even record your adventures on a memory card.Hours of fun!___________________________________________________________________________________________________________*It is an honor for me to be a Vine Voice. My kids are absolutely fascinated by this little microscope! It's so cool that it's handheld and portable – we can take it outside and explore all sorts of things in nature. The 2-inch screen is a good size for them to see what they're looking at, and the 1000x magnification is surprisingly powerful. We've looked at everything from leaves and bugs to the texture of different fabrics. It's been a great way to get them interested in science and learn more about the world around them. The image quality is pretty good for a kids' microscope, and it's easy for them to focus and adjust. It's definitely a fun and educational toy that I highly recommend for any curious kids! Plus, it's a lot more affordable than some of the fancier microscopes out there.

This microscope is a fun way to get kids to swap their tablets for exciting exploration. The microscope comes partially charged so kids can start their adventures immediately. The fold out screen is nicely sized. It comes with 5 slides including a fly mouth, honeybee leg and plant stems. You set the microscope on the included stand and put the slide through the opening below. We had difficulty seeing the first slide because it wasn't perfectly centered, so the image was always off to the side no matter what resolution was selected. The fix would be for the stand to only have a guide rail on one side for slides and leave the other side open so slides can freely move around to view its contents. Also, the stand could be made even better by having the microscope display stand portion be more raised to allow for other objects, not just thin slides, to be viewed without having to hold onto the microscope. The focus dial is easily adjustable as well as the two resolution magnifier buttons and brightness buttons (the four buttons are cross shaped and thumb accessible. Note, the buttons do feel a bit cheap and must be pressed down through each setting rather than just pressing and holding the button once and releasing once at the desired setting. With this in mind, I don't know how long the buttons will last with constant use. It's great that they can capture photos and videos as well. Lastly, the strap needs improvement because it is too long for kiddos under 6 yrs old. There is barely any hook and loop velcroto grip together for little hands, making them have to rely on holding onto the hand-held microscope themselves. Improvement would be to attach a lanyard aroung the neck, similar to binocular straps, so that the microscope not to fall and possibly break. I'd give this microscope a 3.5 stars because it's fun and has great features, but lacks space to view slides and specimens freely while on a stand, the looser, ok quality buttons and the lack of a neck strap and better handgrip for small hands.
