I looked it up for a Buick , the unit worked however it DIDN’T have the required bolt length in the kit. I had to go and get 3 bolts from ace hardware

I picked this up so that I won’t have rent the tool every time I have to remove a harmonic balancer or steering wheel. It is a nice kit, looks like it can be used to remove or install most balancer pulleys that have threaded holes in them -- provided there is enough clearance in front of the pulley. It should also be able to pull a steering wheel. There is a large variety of bolts of various lengths. They’re probably not the highest quality bolts, but as long as you don’t side-load them you should be fine.One thing to note with this style of puller: it has one side that is tapered, and one side that is flat. There is a thrust bearing on the tapered side, and it looks like is designed to be used with the bolt heads on the flat side – if you use it the other way it could easily side-load and bend the bolts. In other words, to remove the balancer, you would run it with the tapered part facing the pulley, and to install it you would have the taper away from the pulley. Mine also arrived with the puller body installed backwards (the part circled on the photo, this is after I flipped it around and how it should be). This could have led to some confusion, so that’s the reason I’m giving it 4 stars, even though it was an easy fix.

I have already used this on my 1987 GMC S15 what a 2.8 l in it and it works great. This thing comes with tons of adapters for all different applications and it makes the balancer go on and off super duper easy. This thing is a million times better than those jankier ones they can get around town. Everything fit very well in the build quality is great on this. It seems to be constructed a very durable materials and I think it's going to last for years and years. I also love that it comes in a hard case that I can stack with all my other tools that I don't use that often. I think these are a great value for the money. And it makes my life easier being able to remove the balancer very easily. Overall I highly recommend it

Literally just used this to pull the balancer off my Jeep 4.0. Worked great, no problems. Everything is nice and beefy like it should be and nothing bent or strained in pulling the balancer off. Comes with instructions if you get confused but its pretty straightforward. My only wish is that the bolts were labeled somehow so that I wasn't doing so much of a guessing game trying to find the right bolts..... Not the worst thing in the world, just do not cross thread the bolts in. I was able to find the bolts I needed in the kit.
