I was looking for some shorts for kickboxing and grappling that had no pockets and that were less restrictive that regular gym shorts. I came across these shorts and figured I'd give a pair a try. The sizing chart was pretty spot on and these shorts have worked out great so far, providing exactly what I was looking for. I have since purchased a second pair of these shorts and so far I am happy with them. They are light weight, a bit loose in the right areas and stretch allowing for more movability. I can't speak to the longevity of these shorts yet, as I haven't had them that long but they do seem to be pretty decent quality for the price.

My husband order these shorts to match a spf long sleeve rash guard he really likes that has the same dragon theme.To be fair, he loves how the shorts looks. The graphics of the shorts and the colors are just as the picture. However, I personally wouldn’t not have kept them since the fabric is too thin to wear. But I read some reviews that states that they love them since the fabric makes them feel comfortable and not too hot while using them and my husband agrees.The other down side is that if you are looking for something more comfortable, this might not be it. It has a very heavy duty Velcro at the front (see pics) instead of a more comfortable and softer Velcro.For the cost of this product I think the value is ok, but the inconvenience of the thin fabric and the uncomfortable Velcro, I would have sent them back, but husband wants to keep them.

I like that it is thin and comfortable. Go with one size bigger. In the size chart I was medium, but I bought large. It fits perfect. I use it for mountain biking.

For reference, im 6'1 and 250lbs. I bought the XL which fits like a charm compared to other shorts I've gotten. They are comfortable, breathable, and has held up during grappling. The shorts also have not shrunk after being washed multiple times. The velcro and strings hold up well and helps prevent the shorts from sliding off.

For the price, you can’t beat these! These were a gift for my brother and he LOVED them. He wanted these for Jiu Jitsu classes and he is very happy with their functionality!

Had my waist measured at 36 inches. So according to the Lafroi size chart, that makes me a Large size shorts.I received the shorts with the "L" tag attached. But they are huge. Way too big to be considered usable."L" according to their size chart is 36 to 37 inches. But the internal diameter of the shorts is over 39 inches (XXL according to their size chart).Will return the shorts, hopefully for a pair that actually fits.The material and make seems quality though, so if you can get your size right then it's probably a winner.

I was a s*** eating white belt, but then I bought one of these shorts and matching rash guard. I noticed how it fit me so well and made my muscles POP that I intimidated all the other players in my gym. I think the DEMON design also played its part in infecting their minds with fear. This made passing guards and sweeping mounts so much easier as my "partner" / enemy was intimidated after I would flex my muscles and smash them aimlessly into his face. This immediately propelled my skill level far above what it was before. I was so satisfied that I bought 3 more sets of matching LAFROI rash guards and shorts. Each time I showed up to the gym with a new set, my "partners" / enemies trembled in fear even more! The effects were cumulative, and now I am at least purple belt in skill level equivalent, and even have subbed coach when I flexed especially hard on his face. I highly recommend these shorts. I think they are the best performance enhancing clothes your money can buy and they are only around $20! In fact, after I started wearing them 24/7, to work, on the street, to the grocery store, and to a wedding, I noticed the effects didn't only apply to jiu jitsu. Everyone began to be intimidated by me! I get to skip all lines, people throw money at me in the street, women tremble in fear as I talk to them (this is now part of my "player style"), and I even got a raise for 3x my old salary just by having a quick "chat" with my boss. I am telling you right now, you won't regret purchasing these shorts!

Vibrant and bright design. Seem well constructed and you can’t beat the price. The sizing guide they utilize is accurate even if the sizes seem strange. I was hesitant to order a small even though that’s what the guide suggested. I don’t wear a small anything, I decided on a medium and while they will work just fine they are definitely a bit to big for me. For reference I’m 6’ tall and 185lbs with a 32 waist. The shorts are at my knees and pretty baggy around the legs as well. Glad they have a drawstring because otherwise I would definitely have to return for a size small.

I got a couple of pairs of these to serve as an all-purpose pair of shorts for MMA, BJJ, Wrestling, Muay Thai and Boxing and they have exceeded my expectations, especially given they are far cheaper than more well-known brands. The fabric is light and allows for plenty of cooling, which is great for long training sessions. They also seem to be fairly durable - I haven't had any rips or tears yet and I train 8-10 times per week with full-contact sparring and rolling. They have velcro at the front and an internal drawstring to make adjustments for fit. I found the size to be fairly true - I'm 185cm (around 6'1"), 98kgs (around 215lbs) and an XL was a perfect fit for me with the drawstring allowing for a slightly tighter fit for sparring/rolling.The split allows you to lift and stretch your leg as high as you like for kicking or shooting for a takedown. My training partners have shorts from more well-known combat sports brands and they are always complaining about the fit - something these shorts seems to get just right. I'm going to get 2 more pairs.
