The Lacis Laying Tool Takaburi is very smooth for laying satin stitches uniformly, accurately. Will enjoy working with this tool, easy to handle as well.

I purchased this along with a goldwork mellor to assist with laying stitches. I like having the option between the small mellor and this longer laying tool. I tend to reach for this one more if I want to smooth over my stitches given its cylindrical, tapered shape.

I dont use it much, but it does work well if you have the patience for extra steps with your stitches.

This is a great tool if you are a needlepointer. Great quality and I am happy to have this in my kit. Also I like that it does roll off when you set it down.

I was skeptical- felt a little thin in my hand but works great - nice for laying thread down but by far the best feature it using it to untangle when my thread gets caught up behind the fabric (if you stitch you know it happens -or at least to us beginners!) totally worth theMoney !

It feels well balanced and comfortable in your hand. It doesn't snag and makes it very easy to lay threads perfectly. The square end ensures it doesn't roll around. I like that it's a bit longer than many others.

The product is fine; longer than the Japanese Tekobari but well balanced.The merchant didn't send all the pieces I ordered. When I finally figures out how to reach him he made up the missing piece promptly
