Good size for tablet weaving. Durable yet a wee bit flexible. A good size to rotate as the weaving progresses. I tried to color code the four edges with pure dye. The dye had no effect on this plastic. It will be interesting to keep track of the weaving sequences.

I am very pleased with these smaller-sized plastic cards for my tablet weaving. They are sturdy but also flexible, and perfect if you're working on a design which requires cards to be flipped on the vertical axis. The only drawback is that the plastic will not retain permanent-marker ink on the edges for any length of time. I prefer to mark the A/D edge for a quick reference to "home" position. That said, I simply re-mark then after each project is completed.

But this is not a bad thing. These are smaller than the cards I got with my tablet weaving book and thinner but feel reasonably sturdy for as thin as they are. These will travel better with a belt loom in a small drawstring bag. That is a portability plus.The thickness is a bit more than a playing card from a good Bicycle card deck and a bit stiffer than a fresh card. Both sides are smooth. The edges are slightly fuzzy. Well marked in the corners. I'll need to use them to see how they behave. If these perform well, I may just have to get myself another 2 packs of these.

The Lacis tablets are the best I have found. they are Light weight, very thin, and easy to turn. The only thing that is not positive is that some permanent markers, and in particular orange will rub off of warp threads. Non clorine bleach will take off the tablets, but did not remove it entirely from a white merserized cotton warp. I haven't tried the blue range. The tablets are awesome in themselves, I own 150 of them. I would recommend them to long time tablet weavers as well as novices. They are sure to please every present time weaver.

These card are made of laminated construction paper. I have to admit, I had my doubts about the material in the beginning, but I just finished my first big project with them and they are holding up nicely. No wear is visible so far. I also like the fact that they are thinner than cardboard or wooden weaving cards, which makes it easier to create bands with uniform width and clean selvages.

These cards are great! They are smooth, thin, durable and just the right size for my hands. They are just a bit flexible but not enough that they would ever bend and crease. The holes are punched far enough out to the corners that they provide an adequate shed.

I bought this set as a gift. I purchased one for myself a year ago. The cards are strong but do not damange the yard or thread you use. It work well for kids hands as well as adult. My kids and I do tablet weaving when camping. No batteries to worry about.
