Replaced my canister purge valve solenoid with this one and this one doesn’t duty cycle. It goes full open when activated which causes a p0171 lean code along with a p0451 evap leak code.

I installed with this new purge solenoid in my 2009 Nissan Versa for a few weeks. It seemed to work fine, but soon two different EVAP codes appeared and my car developed a periodic rough idle. The rough idle got worse over the subsequent weeks. Eventually, after failing to diagnose the issue myself, I took the car to a shop where they were able to identify the issue as this purge solenoid, which would fail intermittently. I replaced this with a more quality part, and so far no issues.

I bought this to replace a bad vapor purge valve on a 2010 Nissan Sentra. It lasted just long enough for I could not return it. Save your money and buy a better product. Not only do I have to buy another one but also pay for labor to replace.

The first time i ordered this product, it was faulty and leaked air so I got a replacement part. However, the replacement part had the same issue as the first product.

I needed one of these and found this one with the pic showing Nissan written on it. I doubted it would have that but low and behold it says Nissan on it. Local parts store wants $90 for an aftermarket but oem at this price is a no brainier. It is working great so far.
