It works actually so far for 1 thousand miles. previously it did not work but it turned out to be the misinstalled vaccum.

Overnight delivery and a price that can’t be beat. It would have been an easy 5 star were it not for one threaded hole that caused some struggle during installation.

This K03 replacement is perfectly middle of the road and for 200$ you can’t complain.Just wish that the set came with the sintered metal gasket (SMG) where it mates to the manifold (This SMG only applies to Mini’s as far as I know however)Also wish it comes with new studs as OEM studs will typically be seized on old turbos.Otherwise, this performs as is should. Blow off happens at the right time and spool up performance (subjectively) feels right where the original Borg-Werner does.For 200$ this is a good value.0

I installed this on my 2009 clubman R55. Factory turbo had the waste gate go bad so it was throwing the awful boost plausibility code and going into limp mode. Mini dealership wanted $7,200 for a new factory turbo. I paid $5,500 for the whole car 50k miles ago, figured this was worth a shot. I will say it says it’s a factory K03 but the compressor housing itself is a little larger than factory (pics attached) though the physical inlet and impeller seem to be factory. My turbo came very quick, clocked correctly, took roughly 8 hours start to finish but I also did a front mount down pipe new oil and coolant lines to and from the turbo and charge pipes all at the same time. Amazon and eBay parts all the way. Entire project was sub $600 and then I tuned the car through Maxxboost tuning on their stage 2 car feels extremely healthy now and pulls like a freight train. Very very impressed with this turbo so far. Will update if there are any future issues with love ruby, etc.For reference my car is an N14 car so can’t speak to whether it will work on an N18 but I can’t see a reason why it wouldn’t.

Installed this on a 2015 Clubman, as the original turbo was bad and smoking white like crazy.The price is very very good, compared to OEM and the build seems like good quality.The only issue is that usually parts come with screws, etc, so had to use the very hard to remove special screws on the older turbo without breaking them.Other than that, we’ll see how it holds up, looks very promising.

I was in a pinch and need a turbo quick found this one and started the install. i installed all new coolant and oil feed/drain lines, also preoiled turbo on first start. worked great till it didn't, now have a couple thousands play in shaft oil seal bad and making zero boost.
