Ordered this for my 1988 dominator. Trying to track down why I wasn't getting reliable spark. As far as I can tell, this box never created even one spark on my machine. Moreover, I bought a new pulse generator because I assumed a new CDI would have been functioning.

So this solved my problem, the dealer couldn't tell me this was the problem, said the part was days out and (not sure but..) would have probably cost at least 5 times as much as this! Also charged me $280 to tell me he couldn't find the problem. Bought this, and was up and running the next day! THANK YOU AMAZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Saved the day and allowed me to start my over 5,000 plus mile journey with no issues

My OEM CDI had intermittent issues. Bought a Neutron from elsewhere and it was good. Bought this one for a spare. Currently testing this one on the bike with good results and will carry the other in my front fender bag. Holding the two good ones side by side leaves me to believe they are made in the same place and sold by others and rebadged. Don't care, so far they both work.

Totally satisfied. Put this in the bike about 5 minutes after it arrived and it fired up perfectly- fixed my no start. For now, I am cautiously optimistic. I will post an update if it fails.Update - about a month later and it’s still going strong. Probably going to buy another one. I put a different CDI in because when the stock part failed, I ordered a couple of different brands of similar CDI to see which would work. This one beat the other. The ‘amavoler’ CDI was a complete fail and no start.

I had a few of these cheap CDI's and its like a box of chocolates, never know what you are going to get. One lasted about 3 weeks then done.. This one from this seller is already starting to have issues with constant idle issues.. I'll give it a few more runs.

Has had instances where the bike idles "funny", and runs wrong on restarts, but after another restart it seems find. May consider getting something from a more reliable source, but haven't been able to ride for a while...
