Bought this to put a sandbag on for sighting in my deer rifles. Works excellent. The rubber feet and the weight of the unit along with the weight of a leather sandbag and the weight of the rifle make a very steady rest

I needed to align a couple of items that required some precision supports. These fit the bill nicely.

I already have 2 lifting stands that I use for various workbench projects. The picture looked like it might be more precision, or stronger? than my others so I got one to see. Well, it might be very slightly more stable. Can't really tell. I think Id rate my old ones as 5 star but I took off a star on this one because of the set screw set-up on the cross-shafts. The others have circlips to keep things together. This one uses tiny allen set screws. The hex in the screws isn't very precision so the provided allen keys don't fit well. Won't go in at all, or sloppy in others. Tried snap-on metric & american with varying results & discovered the screw hexes strip out real easy. Overall, I thick my old ones are better.

I have used lab lift tables before which were wobbly and the the screw could not accurately set and fix the height of the table. The first thing I noticed is the LABALPHA lift table is very rugged and well built. The scissor lift is very stable and does not jiggle when you twist the knob to turn the screw that lifts and lowers the table. A screw driver and three hex keys are provided to further adjust the tightness of the scissor movement. The bottom plate has four rubber feet to keep the lift table from moving around while working on the top table surface. When fully retracted the table is 3 inches high and when fully extended the top of the lift table is 13 inches high.It is strenuous to sit for long periods while working on repairs or craft work. I will be using this lift table in the workshop to repair machine parts or putting the finishing touches on woodworking projects and crafts. I can now do my work standing up and adjust the lift table height very precisely to work comfortably.
