We are a homeschooling family and I'm always looking for ways to spice up our school day. I'm also a dental professional with years working as an assistant in several dental offices. Because of that, I am always teaching my children about dental health and the importance of brushing. This model is a wonderful tool to improve visual aid. Rather than me just talking about things like gingivitis and gum disease, my kids can now see what those conditions are and how they affect the mouth and overall dental health. This model is great for school and office use. I think this would be perfect in a dental office for teaching patients about their own oral health and conditions that might be affecting them. Highly recommend!

I work in a dental office and I will definitely use this model to teach my patients about periodontitis. Is it perfect? No. But there are some very nice features on the model and many things I do like about it. I like how you can see the bone loss very easily. I can also point out root caries, which is very common with bone loss and often hard for people to visualize. It feels pretty sturdy and it looks like it will last a long time. It is nice to have a visual aid when explaining something that's impossible to see. I can show bone loss on xrays but this is nice to see three dimensional. If you order this, don't expect perfection, the tooth that shows normal/gingivitis isn't quite accurate. I still find it useful.

Giving this item 3 stars since this is not an accurate model as another reviewer noted. We are still going to keep it in our bathroom as a little inspiration to brush and floss.

This tooth design model is sturdy, and it’s a great model. I got this for my daughter who’s in dental school now, and she said it’s very useful. I would recommend this teeth model.

Don’t waste your money! This is so poorly made. It came broken. Also, it’s not an accurate model…it’s showing normal “healthy” and gingivitis portion with bone loss. So disappointed!
