This lab jack is somewhat stable and can hold thigs up without too much movement, but I would not trust it to hold anything breakable or expensive.

This jack is perfect for a small job I had. Easy to raise and lower a small, light load.I gave it 4 stars because it has some jitter and therefore struggles with raising a load that is larger than the jack surface (I tried to raise a 12”x12” x 3/4 piece of plywood and the board consistently slid off during raising of the load (board was centered on square surface). If you are familiar with labware, this is NOT of the same quality as the ‘labjack’ brand (not even close, but also nowhere near the same price) - but if your object is smaller or maybe on par with the size of the jack surface it should work (load limit is stated to be 18#; did not test this).

Terrible. Fell apart after 4 days. No fasteners of any kind only tension holds this together so if you plan to move it up and down a lot it will begin to go wonky not worth

I used this adjustable table to create a support for positioning parts for laser engraving. Bored a small hole in ctr to attach a circular, 2" V-block and it works like a chamo!!

This is a nice little jack stand. The support arms are cast instead of stamped and thicker too making it sturdy for it's size. Raising or lowering the stand via a large plastic knob is smooth. Says it will support 20lbs of weight.

The one I received had a bent crankshaft.If it weren't for that, I'd have gone 5 stars since it is far better that the other lab jacks.The pivoting arms are cast, (as opposed to other styles that are stamped), so they're more rigid, and less prone to deflection and wobble.
