This clock is really nice. Not too bright at night and the projection on the ceiling is very clear.

I really like this projection clock. The projector is easy to aim and the projector can be focused, which is an added bonus. It displays the time and shows the temperature and the humidity, as well as the day of the week. It also has a battery back up which saves your settings when there is a power outage. The price was also good.

Best projection clock and not a huge investment. No lines above, below or on the sides of the time that is projected. Love that you can focus in the ceiling display.

Wanted to be able to see the time at night without fumbling for the phone or having a bright clock light in my face by the bed. This red light on the ceiling is perfect! The backlit display can be turned off and won't be seen in the dark. The red light on the ceiling isn't bright at all and doesn't disturb my sleep. The red light can be left on continuously which was what I wanted.

I've read other reviews that state that the projection is blurry and that the angle of the projection cannot be changed. None of that is true. There is a dial adjustment for the focus of the projection and there's a button to rotate the beam ninety degrees at a time giving you four options for the projection... Its an alarm clock with projection for under $20! It does everything it needs to and it works. Just buy it. You won't be disappointed and you have nothing to lose. I guess it's too difficult to read the instructions?

I have an earlier model of this clock that has a colored display. It's been running great for the last 6 years or so until the projection portion just up and went dark this week. Nothing I could do seemed to reset it so I decided to buy this one since it seemed 98% similar. ( It's amazing on how the wife and I became accustomed to looking at the ceiling at night for the time. ) Here is what I like/dislike on the new one.+ The projection is clear and bright on the ceiling. The numbers are actually a little bolder than on the old one.+ Operation, set-up and changes are fairly intuitive on this model ( even without instructions) No hidden menus /codes to mess with.+ It's a good size. Not to big but not so small as it gets lost on the nightstand.- Doesn't have a color display for the day/temp etc. Not a big deal but it looks like a cheaper display overall. It's also a little harder to read.-The white display tends to look a little dim/washed in daylight unless it's on it's highest setting. Yet, the highest setting is too bright at night. There seems to be no happy place for a vivid but not overpowering display.-The focus wheel for the projector doesn't seem to do anything. Not sure if it's broke or .... ? Fortunately, the distance to my ceiling is ok for a clear image.- (Like the last unit) , the clock is too light and with too little contact with the night stand surface to stay put. Consequently, I need to be readjusting it's location any time anything touches it at all ( or the projection is skewed . It needs weight or suction cups or something so it stays put/adjusted.- It would be nice if the projector could move in more planes than just front to forward to give flexibility in where the time gets projected. I need to have the base near the edge of the nightstand in order to get the time projected in a good spot.Summary, It's a decient-Oddly, it doesn't work with the previous models power supply so there are more internal changes than I guessed.-

After several tries with other projection clocks that I wound up returning or tossing, I finally decided to go with a name I knew. The clock is easy to set, the display is easy to read, and the projected time on the wall is bright enough to see, but not so bright that it's annoying. The only thing I wish it had was the "atomic" feature so I didn't have to worry about the clock keeping accurate time or re-setting the clock when we lose/gain an hour. I haven't had it long enough to see how accurately it keeps the time.

I have an older model that I've been using for 15 years. It projects onto ceiling and still works great. So when my kids wanted a clock, I trusted this brand. 4-way pivot for projection is great (just like my older model). A bright light in the bedroom while sleeping is not good and this was a big issue for me in choosing a clock (after my husband bought a clock for our son from Canadian Tire and on the dimmest of settings the light was WAY TOO bright). This clock has at least 4 settings and the night options are perfect. I DID RETURN ONE and got it replaced when the projection showed a faint second image. Customer service was great and NO ISSUES with the replacement.

The set up is easy.Temperature and humidity are correct (I have another gadget which measures temperature and humidity, they match, so both are correct.)The main display is bright (there are 4 levels of brightness), but it is hard or impossible to read it at angle if your eyes are below the display, so you may not see it when laying in bed.At darkness projected digits are big, sharp, and red, and can be rotated 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. You can rotate the projector around one axis.At daytime, the projected digits can be seen, but they are pale and not distracting. You cannot switch off the projector or change its brightness. It works both with and without batteries. But without batteries it doesn't keep time in case of power outage, so it is best to insert batteries. (2 AAA, not included)With batteries and without AC power, it switches off the projection, and the display becomes hard to see at light and impossible to see at darkness, to save batteries. You still can see time by pressing Light or Snooze button, then both projection and display are switched on for about 10 seconds. Batteries, according to the manual, last for more than 12 monthes. It was hard to insert batteries, I needed to apply force.
