Component Activation

Using the probe tip in connection with the auxiliary ground lead, components can be activated right in your hand or the vehicle

Find The Bad Ground

Probe the suspected ground wire or contact with the probe tip without have to pull in go out all the jumper wires

Find The Short Circuit

Use the probe tip to activate and energize each of the fuse contacts. The contact which trips the circuit breaker is the shorted circuit

Testing Trailer Lights

Clipping the auxiliary ground lead to the trailer ground to check the function and orientation of the connector and trailer lights

I can’t even tilt my probe 45 degrees without the tip falling out of the probe. Makes it very hard and frustrating trying to use it, only used it twice because it can’t go into a downward spot or the tip falls out and you’re fishing it back out form somewhere. Bad design

This review is coming from a Mechanic who has been in the trade for over 7 years. If that doesn't come through your ears then read another review.Though I didn't use it. The probe felt cheap in hands, its made of low quality material, so is the case that comes with it. The overall package feels like a toy, not a tool. This discouraged me so much that I decided to return knowing well that it won't stand the abuse in my workplace. I am pretty sure it works great, but for the price just get something else like Autel or Power probe.

wow this tool is amazing! I was helping a friend with an electrical problem on his hot rod and he pulled this tool out. Being a retired electrical engineer I hadn’t seen one. I read the book to see everything I could do and was shocked at what it would do. Found the problem in about 10 minutes. I immediately ordered one for my own shop.

This is one of the best probes that I have gotten for troubleshooting automotive circuits. It tells you all you need to know about the line you are probing as well as voltage readings on a small screen that is clear to read. Selecting the proper mode the screen changes for that mode so in a sense it is like having multiple probes and testers on one device with super accurate readings and fast readings. If you are a professional or even an advanced DIY'er this is the probe you will want to keep in your tool box.

Love the large screen. I got this because my husband and I are terrible when it comes to wiring. We have an old truck we are restoring and this is a great tool to get us started. We have been using this and reading up on the different things it does. But this has been an awesome tool for us. We love it.
