I ordered the chain for necklace extensions, and it is perfect. The bright gold color is the ideal metal finish, and the chain can handle heavy stones. The design of the links can accommodate a large lobster clasp. The gold finish is pretty, and it looks gold-plated.

Bright silver shiny chain. I have no way to know if it is really silver plated, but it looks very shiny. It feels very sturdy. It is a pretty heavy duty looking chain, so I think it is better for bold designs, if you are using it for jewelry. I will be using it as decoration on some resin journal covers I make, and other crafts, rather than jewelry, and it will work great for me.

I love this spool of gold colored thick circle link chain. I design epoxy resin items and some are quite heavy but require hanging. I cut this chain to the size I like and embed it into the item I am making so it cures as part of the piece. Then once fully cured, I just remove it all from the mold and the chain is permanently in place. It's a beautiful chunky chain and very strong. It looks amazing and adds a very nice touch to my finished pieces. You get 13 feet and can cut the links with a good wire cutter. It is thick so don't try to cut with scissors or dinky cutters.

I like this chain, but I thought that the links were smaller- they are pretty big. It will still work well with my designs, I was just expecting something different. Good quality, shiny but not too shiny. This chain will blend well with pendants and beads. I recommend!
