I used great care but the tip snapped off in thin soft gold only a couple thou deep in soft copper. Speed and feed were well within normal use. I was clearing gold plating off a plated thru-hole. You can see holes one and two were good. You can see the snapped off tip stuck in the third hole. You can see the missing length of tip that was left in the pcb hole.Seller has not been helpful- expected simple offer to replace after answering questions, just followed by more questions. I just placed an order for a similar item from a better seller. $18 wasted.
