I don’t know if I’ve been living under a rock or if these are just extra spectacular, but I LOVE these pruning shears. Our fence was being swallowed by the neighbor’s vines, and trees were growing between the panels—but they were NO MATCH for these shears. I got so carried away that my husband had to take them away from me! The locking feature is a great safety addition, too.Spring is coming, and I cannot WAIT to slice up some vines with these babies. Highly recommend!

The first thing I pruned were the spent fruiting canes off of my thornless blackberries. Easy say could be, but cut my fingers about 3 times accidentally. Like I said, they have razor sharp edges, so be extra careful. Next I pruned off summer’s growth and seed heads from some shrubby plants, and roses. Clippity do dah! The handles are not so far apart that I cannot handle them with my small hands, and my arthritic thumbs and wrists appreciate the ease of squeezing and clipping, plus they are not heavy in the hand like my other clippers, that have rusted easily.One negative thing is that the safety closure doesn’t hold, and allows the handles to pop open when not desired.All in all, I’m very pleased with the purchase, especially since I have tested and tried numerous other name brand, and expensive, clippers. The price is great for a well performing clipper.

For the price, this is a good value for the money and decent quality. I use them to prune my roses and hibiscus. It's easy and comfortable to use, but I did have a hard time pushing up the release button at first. After using it a few times it loosened up. This also came with a back up (replacement) spring too! They are easy to clean, but these usually aren't too difficult to clean anyways. I prefer these to the expensive ones in the stores because of the price. I am glad I bought them.

These are so well made and sturdy I believe they will last for at least 10 years in my care and usage.I have owned many and still seek the heavy, well performing pruning sheers that I can find. I was also taken by the fact that they include an extra metal spring in the event after years of usage that it should pop off and perhaps get lost. The feel in my hands are comfortable and the ease of cutting is amazing. They are strong, precise and cut with ease. The manufacturer took attention to lubricating the blade, as I will also continue lubricate these as well after usage.They shipped super fast, priced very well, via Prime.

I’m a 75 yr old woman and this product is so very well made and sharp it is a pleasure to use. The button to keep it closed securely makes a little click sound when it’s set. The handles are comfortable with a non-slippery surface that feels safe in my hand. The weight is just right, it feels compatible with my strength. It completes the job quickly and cleanly. I’m happy I chose this particular brand and highly recommend it. I also wash it after each use to keep it free from gunk and dirt. Love it.

Just bought these pruners to replace my Fiskars ( Fiskars is a very poor product, did not stay sharp, spring broke within a year, just awful for any amount of money). I have used the pruners every day for over a week. I find them to be easy on my small, arthritic hands, comfortable to hold. They are very sharp and cut small branches on my shrubs with ease. The right tool for the jobs I hav in my garden made so much easier! Love that an extra spring is included. I may actually buy another set, just to have them on hand.

These are the best all purpose pruners I’ve ever bought! Better and less expensive than those from major hardware stores! Strong and super sharp, it cuts cleanly even at the tip, for delicate pruning from herbs and clematis vines to woody roses, holly bushes and crape myrtles. I use my second pair to cut chicken joints, and though I need 2 hands to cut my dog’s pizzle sticks, it does so easily and cleanly.

Comfortable, sharp, and has been holding up great through regular home garden use. The only negative is that the lock doesn't always engage smoothly. Great product for the price.
