This is a high quality cummerbund for the price. The fabric is heavy satin that's not slippery. It has a very light sheen and not too shiny. The black is pure neutral black to match matte black tuxedo pants and bow ties. There is enough padding internally to prevent folding at the waist. The ~5.5" width is enough to cover the waist and belly, but not up too much. The clasp is matte black to blend seamlessly versus silver. I have 34" waist and there is plenty of room for bigger waists to 46" or for smaller waists down to ~30". A good match to my new tux.

This is a mini cummerbund, it fits around the waist, but is so narrow from top to bottom and side to side it seems like it is for a child not an adult.

I found this cummerbund to be a great addition for my tuxedo. I needed it for a wedding and it looked great. The back has elastic bands that are attached to the clip and they definitely helped to keep it secure and in place while I was wearing it. It was easily adjustable so that made it great for fitting it as you need. The look of it is classic and accompanies a black tie event perfectly. The cummerbund arrived uncreased and ready to be worn. For the price and overall quality, this is a great deal.

It's decent, but I feel a cummerbund isn't something you would want to skimp on. You can find other ways to shave off costs of a tuxedo, but I suggest getting one with a sturdier fabric. This one basically just folded over every time I bent over, and I don't really have a gut to be pushing it out.

It is almost as if this cummerbund was made for a child, as it's very narrow side to side. Top to bottom it's plenty wide (wider than most other cummerbunds I've tried), but with it so narrow side to side, if you have your tux jacket open (like when sitting down) there's a really good chance that the elastic band will be visible. It reminds me of a large belt buckle rather than a cummerbund! I'm not exactly skinny, but I'm not really a WIDE person either. The front part really needs to go more around the sides. I went with Giorgio Bissoni instead, which is not as wide top to bottom as Kyle Thomas, but it is a good 3" wider side to side.

If you need a well priced cummerbund, Buy this. My boyfriend wore this to a formal a few weekends ago and preferred the way he looked WITH this cummerbund better than without the cummerbund (as he dressed last year). It gave him a slimmer, more polished look. He wears a size 38 waist and he still had plenty of room.As a former band kid, this would make a great addition to a concert uniform. Excellent value.
