I had a really annoying and worsening squeaking coming from the back of my 350z for the longest time and it got to the point where i thought it was the plastic trim piece (which it was not).Got these installed yesterday and the squeaking is absolutely gone!!!!!!!!!I recommend these, they are much more robust than OEM and the install is definitely a DIY project with the right tools.

Had a banging, annoying noise coming from rear driver's side of my 350Z. Replaced the shock mount bushings with this kit and it went away instantly. Try this kit before replacing your shocks if you have an annoying noise that sounds like banging or knocking when going over bumps!

The cost for these was very reasonable. But that is not why I gave them 5 stars. I drive a 2007 G35 coupe . and as it has been getting older I had noticed this annoying clank or thunking noise coming from the rear, it sounded like I had two wrenches being bumped together from within the trunk/. I had tried everything. replacing suspension with coilovers. Replacing the rear control arms and ball joints, removing the spare tire re tightening the speakers and everything in the trunk. everything short of getting rid of the car was tried. I could not for the life of me get rid of the noise. the problem was driving me mad as I hear it on bumpy roads and every speed bump . So I could not get away from it. I had almost given up . When I had looked online and noticed that others had similar noises and had replaced this mount kit. I decided I would do the same and to my surprise the shop said the old parts looked fine and that they didn't think it would made any difference. I even inspected the old parts and I could not find any reason for noise that I heard.so I got back into my car and I am happy to say that I am noise free so far for two days. It is unlike any feeling that I can describe. the car feels like something new and I cant be happier.

I have a 2003 G35 sedan and these shock mounts did not fit.The bump stop is too tall which leaves no room to thread the nut. I had the intention of replacing the old mounts but ended up re-using them because this kit did not fit. Better to buy from a different manufacturer.

Yea, it worked - no more noise coming from the rear. Now, I can more fully hear the growl from the exhaust of my Nissan 350Z.It took me about three hours to complete installation. I did not realize that the rear shocks had to completely come off the car and bepartially disassembled. (I was leery of shock disassembly - thinking that something might spring apart and not be able to beput back together - there was no big deal). No special tools required. You will need at least a floor jack, jack stands, various metric wrenches and sockets, bench vise to hold shock and a torque wrench with a range of 20 to 50 pound-feet (my wheel lug nuts require 70 pound-feet of torque). I used all of the bits. Now, I await the life of the parts.

Amazon says that this rear kit (KYB SM5482 Shock Mount kit) does not fit the 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe, but eBay say it does so I tried my luck as it is cheaper on Amazon. I just paid my local shop today to install them and they fit perfectly. This is high quality people and my car does not make as much noise anymore while going over speed bumps or any other road irregularities. I did a complete Shock/strut job so I also bought 2 quantities of KYB SM5542 Mount with Insulator for the front of my vehicle as well. Everything fits perfectly. So if you need a complete job you need 2 quantities of each of these kits. ans as for the actual shock and struts go get a package deal from PrimeChoiceAutoParts on eBay for DIRT CHEAP. The lesson of the day is to buy your own parts and only pay for labor. You'll save hundred$

This kit worked perfectly in my 07 350z Nismo to silence the common rattle/thumping that occurs with the oem setup in the 350z.Took about an hour to do both sides. These go on the rear, but with the noise in your car, you probably knew that!Note that this kit only covers one side, and it would be best to do both sides at once to assure your future is rattle-free!Also, be aware that one of the parts is twice as tall and looks different from what you will take off of your oem shock. Don't worry. It works fine and I think it must be part of the reason this kit fixes the issue.Lastly, note that there is also a gasket (Nissan calls it a "seal") (part number 55338) between the shock mount and the wheel well that will need to be replaced, but it does not come in this kit. The oem part is red. Mine was dried and shriveled up (looks like bacon) at 36000 miles and did not cover the entire area anyway, so instead of buying another failing part. I just replaced it with a hand cut piece of thin rubber gasket makerial I had laying around and used the mounting part as a template. In the end, my car was fixed and there are NO rattling or thimping sounds in the read end anymore.Highly recommended fix due tho the super low cost and ease of install.

I still have and plan to install these, but I could not get it compressed enough to install it. I think I just need to put it in a vise for a day and then install them.

This kit fit easily onto my 07 350Z. I was experiencing a rattling noise going over bumps and while I was replacing the brakes I checked the shock mounts and noticed the rubber buffer had worn out and become dry and brittle. I checked with Nissan and they said it would take 6 weeks to get me new ones to my base in England, so I check a couple of forums and they pointed me to this kit. It fixed the problem, hopefully won't have another like it for awhile.
