I got a great price for a pair of these on Amazon. KYB is original equipment for Toyota/Lexus and is of high quality. I'm sure these will last the rest of the vehicle's life.My only gripe is that one of the boxes had a Kohl's return label (look and LPN label) and the part was not in the original sale plastic bag, so it had been sold/returned, but it does not appear that it was installed. I should have received an open box discount for this part. There is no option for that at Amazon Customer Service.

I bought these strut mounts in December 2019 for my 2000 Camry XLE. They both had the product number "SM5175" on them, and they looked to be normal. 5 months later, I was doing some other minor strut work on my car and noticed that the boots were shredded. I was astonished. High-end KYB mounts and boots were pretty much in tatters. They had less than 1000 miles on them. Save your money. Go on Rockauto and buy Mevotech supremes for $21 each. These mounts are not worth your money or time and you will find yourself replacing them very shortly after installing them.

Looks identical to the OEM Toyota part but at more than half the price Toyota asks for it. I'm not sure if these aftermarket mounts will hold up over time, but KYB is a quality Japanese company. Just FYI some of these strut mounts were being made in China while others are now made in India.UPDATE: 6 months later, the right rear is still quiet on my Camry Solara but there's now a loud rattling noise from the top of the rear left strut mount. The mechanic said the 3 nuts on top were slightly loose. He re-tightened them but the noise returned a few days later after going over a speed bump. I've read reports that using more expensive Toyota brand mounts solved this famous problem. Not sure how long the right rear mount will last, but it's still quiet. BTW, I have new KYB Excel-G struts and new Toyota springs.

If you have the famous Camry clunking noise in the rear area of your car this is more than likely what you need. The strut rarely goes bad and the mount is usually the problem. My mechanic insisted I buy KYB mounts as he has never had a problem with one of them. I can see why he insisted on this KYB mount and my 91,000 mile car is quiet again.

Good stuff! Good quality product. Don't forget the rod spacer! Thats the only item that won't come with this or the strut itself.

It works and dooes the job, it realy beats $150 that dealer wants for each and you have to special order them. I recomend them.

This is just what I needed. Symptoms of my faulty OEM rear strut mount (right) were loose clunking. My local Toyota dealer (Honolulu, HI), wanted $160 for this part, which was straight up outrageous. I rented some spring compressors from a local auto shop, replaced my faulty OEM strut mount with this KYB strut mount and all is better! This was done on a 2002 Toyota Camry LE V6. Thank goodness for Amazon and KYB!!!
