Mounts would have been 5 star for performance, but KYB didn't include any diagram, instruction or otherwise to help in the reassembly. Thanks goodness for U-tube. We found a video showing not only the process, but the sequence as well. Made the project easy to do after all.

Not sure I needed this but, I like to replace all the rubber with new shocks though. Everything fit right and worked well. I removed the OEM plastic boot by loosening the clamp with a screwdriver. I attached it on the new cap and used pliers to tighten the clamp.

If you're replacing your struts you should replace these too. Even if the mounts on your car look or seem fine, just bite the bullet and replace these too. They may not seem important but they can make a very big difference. It's worth spending the little bit of extra money to do it right the first time. Think about it; if you are going to spend your hard-earned money on new struts, don't you want to get the most out of them performance-wise? Exactly.I recently replaced the factory shocks & struts (and the strut mounts) on my '04 Mustang V6 with KYBs and they're great. My dad and I did it ourselves at home and it was not too difficult at all. Made a huuuge difference, my car drives much MUCH better now. Highly recommend.

Great kit. Remember to buy a stainless steel tie wrap or a small clamp. You need one. The stainless steel can be bought at Sears Hardware. It goes around the huge bump stop to hold onto the boot.
