EM Corvair shock. Great on the front, poor on the rear. Use Clark's gas on the rear. Better control and the proper length to prevent too much droop.

The lower slotted brace is not wide enough to be captured by the bolts and the slots do not accept the 3/8” attaching bolts.

It's a shock, hard to mess that up. Fit my 79 Corvette, and changed the ride 100% over the old original ones.

Seems a good shock. Bushings, however, were very difficult to install without a method of compressing them, considering that while in place, the length of thread is not sufficient to get the nut started. I wound up cutting a small amount off the upper bushings in order to start the nuts. I take a star off due to this unexpected difficulty, as well as nothing in the instructions how to cope with it.LOL... in fact these were some of the worst instructions ever seen! Fortunately you really don't need much in the way of instructions to install shocks.
