First off, I am restoring my 1980 (July 1979 build date) Triumph TR7 convertible, so I am getting parts wherever I can for the cheapest prices without sacrificing quality. The KYB strut is listed as the best currently available upgrade to the stock front struts at all the British parts websites, and prices fluctuate between $100 and $150 for a set of two.I was very skeptical about buying these from amazon, but, you know, roll the dice and return them if they are fake knock-offs with poorly printed KYB stickers attached. This does happen sometimes at Amazon, I’ve even gotten fake retro video game cartridges once.So with a price too good to be true, I ordered these struts. I can happily say that they are new, they are real, and they work great! I saved a ton of cash this time and am very pleased with the results.I am just glad my little triumph needs only a few parts, because from past auto restoration experience, this hobby can cost you a fortune, even on a car with relatively cheap aftermarket parts like old Triumphs! One final piece of advice. If you are doing a restoration be sure to shop everyone (even eBay) before buying. To do these front struts, I ordered (among other things) lower ball joints and poly bushings from Victoria British, strut gaiters (boots) poly bump stops and a bit of other non suspension stuff from Moss Motors. I also recommend buying the updated spring set from whichever supplier you choose (I prefer Rimmer Bros. for the most part) My car was fortunately already equipped with them. Good luck out there!

Quality brand. Bolts right on with all fittings included. While these shocks may not be adjustable and mayby not made for track days, they put the wheels down firmly and makes the car feel tight again. They are very affordable. Perfect for a sunday cruiser. While I changed shocks the front I also changed the rear. Same brand. Please notice that the protective rubber boots needs to be purchased seperately.

Very good shock for any price. Just as good as my expensive Koni shocks . These shocks provide good support for normal driving.
