I was looking for a good juicer , easy to use and that wouldn't leave any pulp behind. I have read numerous reviews on the best juicers out there. Jay Kordich's Power Grind Pro was one of them. Sad to hear that the company no longer exists. So I wrote to Jay on facebook asking him if he could recommend me a quality juicer and he told me about Kuvings. I was also not sure about weather to buy the centrifugal mode or the slow juicer , as to keeping all the nutriments, the centrifugal causes more friction and takes away some nutriments. So I asked the all-time expert Jay, about this and this was his response :Hello,It's not proven and perhaps it's true that you lose a bit of nutrients, who knows? What's worse? What if you don't juice very often because the slower juicers are more cumbersome and harder to use? I say get both, so when you can afford to get another juicer, but make it the slow juicer, ok? Now when you have the time you can juice with the slower juicer and when you are in a rush you can use the fast juicer. It does not overheat the produce. I can assure you of that. What they are talking about is friction. Because of the speed of the blades, friction is caused...but what about blending? Blending is 4 times more destructive because there are usually 4 blades instead of just one with a juicer but nobody really speaks about that. I say don't worry. Juice as best as you can, and if you lose 10% or so due to friction, it's better to absorb 90% than not to juice at all. I hope that this makes sense to you. Please do write to me and tell me how you like the Kuvings ok? Best, JayHope this helps someone make a clear decision on weather to take the centrifugal or the slow juicer ! :) Helped me ! I'm very happy I bought this ,the texture of the juice is wonderful, it's super easy to use and fast to clean ! I recommend it all the way !Also, congrats to amazon in shipping in 2 days , it was so fast !

I bought this juicer for my husband's birthday a year and a half ago. We use it regularly and love it! It's easy to put together, easy to clean, and it juices fast with no pulp in the juice. Our regular combinations are apple-broccoli and apple-carrot-sweet potato. And our three kids - ages 2, 3, and 5 - LOVE drinking the juice and can't get enough! We had one technical difficulty about 6 months after having it. We had a crack in one of the plastic straps that holds the lid down. We easily got a replacement part and have since treated those straps with more care. No problem since then.I would definitely recommend this amazing juicer.

That's what I wanted it for. Only had it two months, juicing once a week to make enough for breakfast and lunch four days a week as part of my cancer treatment. After 1.5 months, one of the clips that holds the top down and releases the safety switch so it will operate broke in half. I tried contacting the warranty department, but the email address was bounced. I then called, and the person answering could not speak my language without the thickest accent I've ever heard. I could only pick-up half of what he said, and I was unsure if he was understanding what I said. I gave up and just ordered a set of new clips AND a new mesh, as the prices were reasonable. Their website does NOT show this model as available OR supported, but it uses the same parts as the orange and white centrifugal juicer. I know I ordered the BLACK clips, as they are also the same on a similar, larger model that is supported. They sent me white ones. No matter - the package was delivered in three business days and free shipping. Juicer works fine.

I love, love LOVE this juicer. It's my first juicer and it does everything I need -- from juicing beets and carrots to the easier, softer fruits. It is noisy, but then again it's pureeing a beet so I don't expect it to be silent for $150. My only complaint is that the plastic clips are cheap and tend to break. I've had my juicer for 4 months, use it about four times a week and the both clips have broke by now. BUT, never fear: this machine comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty so just call Kuvings and have them send you new ones. No big deal. I asked for extras b/c they're prone to breaking and they didn't mind, so I was happy. I highly recommend this juicer -- the motor is solid, the stainless steel pieces are good quality and I am living a healthier life now because of this juicer!

Since I've purchased the Kuvings NJ-9500U Centrifugal Juice Extractor over a month ago, I've used it every day. This is my first juicer, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It is so easy to use. I've had no problems with it, and I've been able to juice everything that I've wanted. Clean up is easy, as I always clean it immediately after I use it. This has been well worth the money, and I'm on my way to becoming a much healthier me.

After reading the reviews on several jusicers, I chose this one because it seemed to have the "right stuff". According to the users, it has a good metal bowl, is easy to clean and does a good job of juicing.I found all these things to be true. The pulp is quite dry, it does a really good job, and the mouth is large enough for good sized pieces to be fed into the juicer. It also has a collection cup that has a wall in it that helps seperate the foam from the juice. Overall we were quite happy with it.BUT...(read to the end for an update 1 year later)We have used it less than 100 times, and found a problem. There are locking straps that hold the lid down. instead of making the buckle out of metal, they are made out of plastic, and one of them has broken. We now have a juicer that looks good on the counter, and is not worth much more than a paper weght...For the first couple of months we were really happy with it, but it is not durable enough for daily use. If you intend to juice daily, then look elsewhere.Just an update, I went to the Kuvings web site, and ordered several replacement clips. While not ideal, it was a cheap alternative to buying a new juicer. I have so far only replaced on strap. We use it regularly, and it does a GREAT job of juicing. So far everything else has been durable, and the replacement straps are cheap. We bought several, and it has worked like a champ.May 2013: One year later, and I still like this juicer. It works well and except for the straps, which are easy to get, it has had no other problems. I recommend this product! It is a good juicer for the money.(After breaking 2 straps in the first three months, we have not broken another.)

Juicing for the first time was easy and fun. I read the reviews and made sure the pulp catcher fit snug against the body. It latched together nicely and was quieter than I thought it would be, like a blender. My juicing experience was awesome. There were no hiccups and it was a pleasure to use this fine piece of equipment. The only thing I didn't like was cleaning up, too bad there is no autoclean function. It cleaned up fine with some warm water and soap. Anyways, recommended.I'll followup after I juice more. But the equipment was quality, performed well and cleaned up like new.
