Their “patent pending” leash hook did not hold the strength of my 24lbs mixed doggo… they need something more secure, like the triangular hook that comes with their treat bag add-on.Other than this, the belt is AWESOME! change the clip please Kurgo!

I have 2 80lb dogs and have been trying to find a strong belt with a a good latching system. I've lost count of how many different belts we've gone through,luckily with the last 2 I ordered/received this belt was one of them and I loved it instantly. Its tough with perfect latch placement and fantastic support. I . LOVE . IT!

I love this belt! I walk my two dogs daily and this really is so helpful!When they see a squirrel and start to pull, it's still comfortable on my back and easy for me to work on correcting. I've had other belts that dug into my back, this belt is perfect for a squirrel reactive dog, as well as a dog who is afraid of everything.HIGHLY recommend! Worth every penny.

I’m utilizing this Kurgo belt for hands-free nature walking. My dog walks well at my side, so I also utilize the Kurgo seat belt to connect her to the Kurgo padded belt. This belt will be one of the best new training/comfort gadgets of this century 😉 At least in my opinion…

The hands free belt is a good resource for leash training when combined with a non bungee leash. The biggest barrier to leash training is consistency. To train a dog to jeep properly it is essential to clearly communicate the position they should be at when on the leash. This means no a short leash and having this anchored at the desired length to this heavy duty waist belt is very helpful. The is minimal shock to pulling even from powerful dogs and soon they discover what is expected and are walking on a slack leash.The metal MOLLE clips that come with it might be better replaced by caribiners but are adequate as is the plastic belt buckle.I used mine with a piece of climbing rope as leash with climbing caribiners.

I cannot tell you how happy I am with this belt. My puppy is a puller and this belt has saved my hands. I have hand issues because of work and every single time i walked her, she would pull nonstop. But with this belt she can't do much and my hands are pain free. I would highly suggest you get a prong colar to go with this belt. As soon as the feel the prongs they stop pulling. So with this belt and a prong collar your puppy will learn to walk with you and not pull you.

I tried a lot of different systems for walking dogs. I am a professional dog walker and this belt has saved my shoulders. The padding really helps the comfort and you can attach a lot of equipment to it. I call it my Batman belt. Haha I did have one small strap break which was disappointing, but all the rest of it has stood up to a lot of wear and tear. I use it every day with dogs that pull, dogs that don't, multiple dogs ... it all stays easy and comfortable. It still puts pressure on your lower back, of course, but the padding helps tremendously with distribution of the load and cushioning so it is comfortable. It is also very secure. The leash attachment is a bit small for my arthritic hands but it is strong and secure. I did add another clip that is easier for me to use. If you add a clip for the leash, attach it to the same area as the built in clip because not all the straps are as strong as they are right there. The broken strap made this review lose a star. It was in a less important area but, still, disappointing. All in all, the belt has been a wonderful solution that I use every day with great convenience.

I was looking for a thicker and more comfortable dog running belt, as my dog pulls a lot, especially when running after squirrels or rabbits. I started developing back issues because of that, this belt helped, along with dog training of course.Pros:- High quality craftmanship- Very comfortable, easily adjustableCons:- Only one buckle on the left side (can be moved, but not easily). Having a second buckle, maybe just a D-Ring would have been great.- No pouch for accessories such as dog bags. There's a larger pouch sold separately of this product, but it's on the large side and can't really be used for running. A smaller pouch would have been great.- On the expensive side (even if my back likes it).- More color choices would be great too.
