Not only is this a solid 5/8" baby receiver, it also doubles as a Junior spud by simply removing the knob. Two mounts for the low price of this one!

The product is fine and robust. Unbreakable. But the description do not mention the bolt thread size. It was too big for my lighting fixture.

Very solid piece of kit. I bought a used 2k fresnel light that came with a studio hanging mount and I had to replace it for location filming. Be aware that it mounts kind of shallow onto a c stand so I wouldn’t recommend for really large lights like 5k’s or large fluorescent lights (but that’s just my opinion since I’m overly cautious with safety on set). I would highly recommend it, and as with any mount, whenever you think about, check and make sure the mounting bolt is nice and tight for safety. Great and affordable option if you need a replacment or need to convert your lights for stand mounting—this is way better quality than those cheap plastic ones that come with so many led lights now a days, so it would make a good upgrade as well, just make sure it can mount to the yoke.

Buen soporte de acero para montar un reflector en un tripié. Aunque es un poco pesado funciona correctamente. El envío fue rápido y sin problemas.

I have bought now 6 of these they are awesome!!! I added them to my Par FX 9 and Par FX3 and other lights as well. If you want to mount a light to a stand theses are great and seem like they will last a lifetime with out replacement.

Good price! Super heavy duty really like the knob placement and design. Prefer to have the nob centered on the unit so if I have to put it on a low pigeon plate I can get it to tighten with out a hassle. The quality knob and center placement is why I pick this one over the Impact or Mathewes version.

This was the cheapest light stand adapter that I could find. I thought maybe that meant it would be poorly made or lacking in some way. However, this Kupo light stand adapter is a well-made and exceptionally sturdy item that can be used to support 50-pound lights with plenty of safety factor. It is made from thick, heavy metal and has a beautiful chromed appearance. The wing screw used to lock the light on the stand is strong and can be tightened firmly. The bolt on top of this light stand adapter is a sturdy 1/2-inch fastener that is capable of holding onto the yoke of the heaviest studio lights.I got this Kupo light stand adapter to convert an inexpensive ($25) work light I got at Costco into a television light. I had to drill a larger hole in the yoke on this Snap-On light (see the photos), but a 1/2-inch hole fits the bolt perfectly on the Kupo light stand adapter. Since the light makes 2000 lumens of good-quality daylight light, I can use it to augment a daylight lit scene. $25 for the light at Costco and $11 for the Kupo adapter, and you have a very inexpensive and lightweight light that can be attached to standard film/television light stands. The Kupo light stand adapter was a critical part of this, and it works perfectly.Feb. 22, 2017 edit: I now have two of these Kupo light stand adapters and they have been getting daily use for the past two months with my modified Costco lights. The Kupo mounts work perfectly and seem like they will last forever. Everyone who looks at my setup really likes it, and the Kupo light stand adapters is an important part of the setup.
