Safety Tips
This Torsion Bar Tool can only be used with hand wrench, do not use the impact driver.
Application
Compatible for 1988 and up GMC and Chevrolet 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks.
Compatible for 2011 and up GM HD trucks, S-10 Blazers, S-15 Jimmys and 4WD trucks with 4.3L engines.
Compatible for GM K-3500 series with HD chassis, including GM 5-lug, 6-lug and 8-lug vehicles.
Includes an adapter for using tool on non-GM applications.

This product is jammed in my torsion key and will not fully release. I lubricated it and all. The product felt nice and sturdy but ig I was wrong.

This tool 100% did the job I needed it to do. However I took a few extra steps in the process knowing it was a cheaper grade tool. First of all, I took as much load off the torsion bars as possible, ie; taking the front wheels of the truck off the ground. Then I put a dab of grease in the divot in the torsion key where this tool sits to help the tool spin easier on the torsion key while unloading. Lastly I lubricated the threads of the tool to try to prevent galling of the tool while unloading the keys.With these steps taken this tool worked flawless for me on my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD.

Good quality unloader for GM. Used on 98 series Blazer. Oil the threads save use a little grease on the end of the pin. Works great.
