About this item

  • Time Saver: Solderless, crimpless, all you need is just a heat gun to finish the joint, much faster and easier than the old way
  • Fit for Confined and Narrow Spaces: Can be bent after connection and no need to crimp or solder in the confined area, just control the temperature via a heat gun
  • Waterproof and Seal Performance: There is two hot melt waterproof adhesive rings in each butt connector, which help it hold up better to moisture
  • High Temperature Proof in A Short Time: Use exclusive material in the butt connectors to avoid shrink tubing melting before solder ring
  • IATF16949:2016 Listed: The Kuject solder seal connectors meet the newest standard of International Automotive Task Force, which is the most standardized way for you to repair or modify your car

Product Description

IP67 Waterproof

Solder seal wire connectors come with IP67 water-resistant rating.

After being heated, they shrink and water will not be able to go inside,

preventing any short circuit issues.

Widely used on boat, vehicle, motorcycle, home, factory or marine.

Seems to take a lot of heat to get the solder to melt, the shrink tube gets very soft before the solder melts using a heat gun.

So, I actually ordered these by accident, but after I realized my mistake, I figured I would give them a try. I thought I bought crimp and seal connectors like I always use, but these are a low temp solder that melts with a standard heat gun. I used them last night on a replacement headlight connector in a Silverado and they worked like a charm. Cut the old connector off, installed the solder connection and the new pigtail, mate wires and slide the connector and hit it with a heat gun until the solder melts. EASY. I had my doubts at first because I figured the connector would melt before the solder made a real connection, but they worked like a charm. The connector shrunk nicely around the wire and the colored sealant melted into place and spread out and shortly after, the solder flowed into the wires. pretty slick to be honest. the joint set up and seems to be watertight and a solid connection. good value and I'll be using these more often for sure. They seem to be well made and look like the connection will hold up.

These things are great. I used them on my pontoon on wires that are ran under the deck. no more water intrusion in the connectors.

recently used the Heat Shrink Solder Seal Wire Connectors, and I am genuinely impressed! The combination of heat shrink and solder is a game-changer that I never knew I needed until now. These connectors make wire splicing and securing so much easier and more efficient. What I love most is how securely they hold the wires in place. Once the connector is heated, the solder melts and creates a solid, reliable bond while the heat shrink tubing forms a tight seal around the wire. There’s no more worrying about wires slipping out or coming loose over time – everything stays firmly connected. The convenience and security these connectors provide have transformed the way I handle electrical work. They save time and effort and ensure a professional, clean result every time. If you're looking for a simple, effective solution for your wiring projects, I highly recommend giving these a try!

I like that the set comes with several different sizes of connectors but all of them work the same way, just with different size wires. They appear to offer secure connections and I tugged on them with sufficient normal usage force to encourage them to fail, but none did. I suppose they all would fail if sufficient force were used but the amount of force I used was not extraordinary. But this was all after the melted solder inside the connectors had time to cool after using the heat gun. The plastic shell of the connectors also melted and shrank tightly around the wires so no noticeable water entered the connections to cause them to short out and not work. I used them to make rudimentary electrolysis setups so I could remove fowling etc. from old coins I was experimenting with. The electrical connections worked really well, even when they fell into the saltwater mix although I did not have both the positive and negative ends in the water at the same time and I was using only 5 watts of electricity. I feel certain that these connectors will work fine in 12-volt electrical automobile connections. I used my heat gun on high setting only and did not use any other type of heat to melt the solder and shrink the plastic.

I don’t know how I’ve done without these connectors for so long. They are super easy to use, and make an amazingly strong connection. I wanted to take out all the connecting plugs in my Christmas Light strings and these were perfect. All you need is a wire stripper and a heat gun. The solder melted quickly in a few seconds and made a solid connection. Be sure not to overheat the connectors. Just to be doubly sure of a lasting connection I also put a piece of shrink tubing over both wires. I used my heat gun on low setting and the solder worked as promised. There is a lot of connectors in the set and great value for money.

I have a bit over a year's experience with these now. I was skeptical originally, to the point of having seen them advertised, but not trusting the effectiveness or durability of the solder bond. I then received a call from a friend who had completely rewired his snowmobile using the Kuject product and absolutely RAVED about them. He is not easily impressed, thus I decided to try them as I was about to wire a mountain sled I was preparing for use. I, too, was duly impressed. They are easy to use and don't require the use of any 'heat reflector' to get the solder to melt and spread the entire way around the wire bond. You simply pulse the heat gun in 3 to 5 second bursts and continually move around the periphery of the solder joint. This evenly melts the solder to saturate the wire strands and shrinks the waterproof silicone tubing around the bond simultaneously. Just work up to the melt point gradually until you get a feel for the timing required. With brief practice, you will be completing solder joints in 20 to 40 seconds each of very high quality. They also lend themselves very well to tight constraints that are nearly impossible to access with traditional soldering methods! The sled I wired has now seen two winters of use without any wiring related failures or issues. It is used to climb mountains off trail in very deep conditions. When stuck in deep snow (often), it is frequently rolled over several times to get the sled able to be pointed downhill again.... snow gets in everything. Zero electrical issues... period. My traditional soldering gun looks lonely... and will likely stay that way. These are an awesome product. My latest order of them was as a Christmas gift for another friend I know will be pleased with the outcome.
