We gave her this as a Christmas gift years ago. She uses it all the time. It is very well made and sturdy.

I thought the last thing I needed was another whisk, but this one is really nice. Does a great job, gets in edges, and the handle isn't so big. Stopped using the Oxo, this is my go to choice for a full sized whisk.

Definitely a well made whisk. Much heavier duty than the previous piece of junk I purchased on Amazon that began falling apart in less than one year with home use. This will definitely last a long time.

I LOVE this French whisk! Previously, I had a balloon whisk that would tip over my glass measuring cup because it was too heavy in the handle. I no longer have that problem because this French whisk is light weight, yet sturdy so no tipping and, it whisks eggs (and anything else) as smooth as can be. Additionally, it is sealed at the handle where the wires connect so there's no debris or water collecting where it would be impossible to clean and dry. That is a concern because food contamination is something I avidly try to avoid. I haven't seen any rust, nor do I expect to since it is advertised as Stainless though nowhere does it specifically state "Stainless STEEL". I don't think I will have any issues since I thoroughly wash and dry all of my dishes by hand. This is the BEST WHISK I have ever owned!I don't know why I suffered so long with that dreadful balloon whisk!

This is perfect for blending sauces and shape of the wires will get into the corners of some of my square sided sauce pans to really whip out any lumps of flour that tends to get caught up there. My larger balloon whisk just can't get in there it's too rounded. They are well built and the wires are perfect thickness and flexability to get the whisking that I need done especially for using short energetic strokes in a square sided saucier when making a roux, for example.

This 10” French whisk was exactly what I was looking for. And I looked quite a bit at all the varieties. It’s slender to fit in tall cups, small pots and bowls, wide mouth HydroFlask and very sturdy. Tines are not flimsy. They are attached to metal piece and water/food residue doesn’t get stored in it so when you use it next time, there is no gunk coming out into whatever you are whisking. I like the feel and weight of it. Does really well at whisking. And because all of it is metal, handle, tines and where times meets handle, nothing will get discolored by stringer spices, e.g. tumeric, curries

What can I say. Perfect for small sauce batches, eggs in a bowl, whipping and whisking smaller amounts. Quality product, better than the industry standard.

Parece algo pequeño, pero es muy maniobrable y el acero es de muy buena calidad.

I purchased this spring whisk to replace one I have that is aging. It doesn't work quite as well on eggs as my former model which was both open and wider on the bottom. This one takes more action to mix eggs and doesn't froth them as much but is satisfactory when used in a whisking motion instead of in a spring motion. It is very good at mixing small quantities of liquid as with gravy or canned soup. It is well made, should hold up for many years and it does feel good in your hand.Final analysis: Not as good as my former model for scrambling eggs but is excellent for mixing wet ingredients. I would buy it again if only for integrating dry ingredients into wet ones.

It is all too easy to end up with too many kitchen tools. Cooking on a boat in very cramped quarters is how I learned the value of multi purpose tools, that do not require power which was in short supply when under sail. No engine running means no battery charging. This whisk is a winner. To whip eggs, the secret is to crack, up to nine large eggs, into a one pint measuring cup. Use a rapid side to side motion to break the yokes, then switch to an up-down motion to entrain air. Eggs need to be in a small tall container or they get away from the whisk.Recently I discovered how effective this particular whisk is for keeping tapioca from sticking to a sauce pan. Push the whisk all the way down and gently sweep the bottom of the pan every one to two minutes and nothing will stick. Nothing else works as well, because the spiral spring when compressed conforms to the pan. Spoons and other whisks only make contact here and there.Spiral whisks are easy to clean, just stick a spoon into the coil and twirl the whisk in water and dish soap. The spoon will scrape the spiral clean as the coil drags the spoon up and down. Other whisks are much harder to clean.Construction appears to be very good. After two months of frequent use, the spiral spring has not deformed or tarnished. I was a bit disapointed that this whisk, while designed in Switzerland, is made in China. Thus I can't be certain as to the grade of stainless steel used. Unlike children's toys, which can shed paint when chewed on, the whisk does not appear to shed any measurable metal. This concern is much greater for stainless steel cookware, with its large surface area. Teflon I feel is much more of a danger. Finally glazed ceramic cookware can contain lead in the glaze. All in all, highly recommended.UPDATE: still in perfect condition as of May 21, 2013.
