Line is thin but what I ordered. Delivered with the spool broken. Had to spend an hour untangling and Putin on another larger spool. I wouldn't order this item again.

I must say I was hesitant because the rope was so much lighter than lead rope,We were concerned about the lead exspoure to ourselves and the environment so we wanted a product that would give us a an alternative .We went shrimping and it was great ,the rope worked wonderfully .Every bit as well as our original gear .Very cool

I use sinking line to drop my mooring chain and bring it back up in the Spring. Great price, good quality line and sunk as it was supposed to. When the ice melts all I need to do is follow the line from shore and pull up the mooring chain and reattach the buoy. Works like a champ.

Quick note: WARNING - KUFA SL-4 sinking rope is NOT 5/16" (0.3125), it is only 1/4" (0.250) in diameter. Purchased two 400' rope coils, one coil exhibited serious fray at 100' mark that required a splice repair. Disappointed in quality control of this item and of course incorrectly listed diameter.
