I'm assuming if you're buying these, you have a lift and therefore have some form of mechanical knowledge. Be prepared to put that to use because there are no instructions included and it takes some time to lay everything out and determine what goes where. The most miserable part by far will be the initial threading of the adjustment handle to the threaded rod. I had to chase my threads and the powder coat made it extremely difficult but with some Kroil and wheel bearing grease, once they are on you should be good to go. The side with the gap in the threads goes towards the bottom and thread the adjustment handle on before installing the padded contact surface and hammering in the pin. Outside of that, just look at the pictures on the product to determine where things go. I was sent extra parts that left me confused initially but figured it out. Other than that, it's a decent underhoist stand and I hope to never test the 2 ton weight rating.
