I ordered these when I was planning on using "Half-Letter" paper for a print job. Before they arrived I changed the print job to "A5" which is a little wider and shorter than Half Letter, plus the extra width for the punched hole area made my divider tabs for A5 protrude beyond the right edge of any reasonably priced 3 ring binder that I could find online. Therefore, I was unable to use the 5.5 x 8.5 sheet protectors. I opted not to return them as the mistake was mine, and I used a few. Having said all that, I am giving a 5. Star rating as the are exactly as described and well built and an exceptional value. As a side note for those who want to use Half Letter in a "Mini" 3 ring binder, the top and bottom of the paper will hit the open/close tabs in the binder. I cannot find a 3 ring binder without those ridiculous open/close tabs except for special orders (expensive) as I see in some of my wife"s commercially produced cookbooks (which, incidentally I am making for her for her own recipes to share with our family. She demands a "Mini" sized 3 ring binder for easy removal and future additions if recipes. I apologize for the length of this review but hope it helps save someone a lot of trouble in a similarly situated situation. Back to the sheet- protectors--if you are looking for an acceptable value for Half Letter paper that works in your 3 ring binder, I highly recommend these.

These sheet protectors are thick and sturdy. They are perfect for our homemade cookbook. I bought some other sheet protectors and they were very thin and flimsy and hard to load because they were so bendy. These are actually a little thicker and feel like they will hold up for many years. Great value for the money, easy to use and fit perfectly in the appropriate sized binder.

This was a great product, and a great price. It was harder to find these then I expected and I was happy to find this wonderful deal. It works for the function that I need it for.

These are a nice weight ... not thin by any means - they're sturdy. Some might call them more of a good medium weight - others would say heavy weight. I used them to post work order / item number WIP signs at work-stations (interior use - doubt that they are UV resistant). So far working very well for my purposes.

I ordered these to make a recipe book and wanted to keep the pages clean. The description said heavyweight sheet protectors, but it doesn't say that anywhere on the packaging. The protectors are thin at best. I didn't want to return them and reorder to encounter the same issue, so I used them. Next time I'll go to Staples.
