I am blown away by how much fun I’m having with this instrument! Feels just as good to me as any Ibanez I’ve played. At this price point you can’t lose. The combo comes with an amp that is exactly what it is; a small practice amp. Nothing amazing there, but has a headphone jack. So if you live somewhere like an apartment it’s handy to have. A guitar pick, strap, cable, and tools to adjust your truss rod & bridge. 10/10 expectations blown away! Love this bass!

I presented my partner with this cool bass and amp for an early holiday gift. He played bass as a youth and I knew this would be the perfect gift...and it was! The only challenge was the amplifier was buzzing and not working properly. After a few back and forths with the seller, we received a replacement amp in 1 day. It works! We had a very positive experience and would recommend. Great product for a great price.

Alright so you are on the hunt for a bass that is extremely affordable, this is a great choice in that regard. If you are looking to spend less than $100 you understand it won’t be perfect, and to my surprise this bass only needed slight adjustments to the bridge and truss rod. Is the amp great, no but it does have a surprising clean tone! All in all this is a gift for someone who is thinking about learning bass, this is a great instrument to decided if they want to pursue this further than a hobby, in that case now you know what you want in your next bass because you started from this, which again is not half bad! If you receive this and it buzzes do a video search on how to adjust your bridge and truss rod, you will be pleasantly surprised how easy it is to turn this cheap paperweight into a playable starter guitar!

It's truly a phenominal deal, great sounding bass, with a pretty darn good little amp. and a nice cheap case. Let's see, the strap did break, but hey, whatever, I had my wife make me a new one, so it's no big deal. The only issue is it wont work with the amp any longer. I don't know what caused it, but it seems like faulty wiring.. I was in contact with the company, and they had me run down the troubleshooting list and I did all their steps, showing that the wiring in the guitar was the problem, and I kept telling them I really like their product, I only want it fixed or replaced, I dont want money back, I like the bass want to keep playing it, but they kinda blew me off after I went through all the motions to prove it was the bass that was the problem. So I still play it for practice, just without sound, and I sure would like to plug it in and play it again, or better yet, have it replaced with another one that works fine. but it's not looking like thats gonna happen. But if the company reads this and decides to help this time, and lets me send it back in for repair, or replacement. just know, I'll gladly, and quickly, chamnge this to a five star review, as I really love the bass, and still think it's a great deal!

Very surprised with the quality for the price. Very light, no imperfections that I can see other than the knobs are slightly off center and rod needs adjustments. The strings are not so good. Amp is basic with low, mid and high controls with no built in effects but that's expected. Overall, a very good deal if you're looking for a good starter bass.

Do initial setup. (The strings on mine touched the frets and buzzed at many points and the problem was the tension and height on the bridge - the neck is nice and straight.) Change the strings. Re-seat the strap anchors so that the bass doesn't slide around and you have yourself a pretty good deal. The amp is trash but the amp isn't the point. The bass plays really nice once you change the strings and mess with the setup. For reference, I play a high end bass as well with built in preamps and all of that. This is not that but for the price it is really really good, light and great to begin on. Looks nice too. Great finish. The humbuckers are weak as some have commented before me but it doesn't make a difference in the practice space. I have to turn my amp to 4 instead of 3 to match the band. I think in this case, the weakness of the pickups is a boon as the pickups are a bit noisy anyway. All the little extras that come with it are cheap but helpful, the gig bag, the tools, and even the amp if you want to practice with headphones. I mean the whole thing is cheap but that's why I bought it.
